No where in the reviews or description did I read that the top and bottom opening is elastic. The towel is OKAY. It's extremely tight around my face and it doesn't dry my hair as fast as people say.oh, I have thick curly hair. I probably wouldn't buy this product again.

I find these towels to be much easier to use than the Turbie towel in that it stays on head without unraveling. I also like that they are terry cloth as I find the microfiber towels do not absorb water as well

The only thing I like about this product is that it’s genuine terry! The design is ridiculous! It has to go completely down over your face & it’s very difficult to get all of your hair into it!

Honestly, I bought this because I wanted to match my polka dot robe, but at the same time I did buy it because I was sick and tired of using bath towels to dry my hair. What I like about this hair towel is that unlike bath towels, this actually stays on your head. It will not fall out of your head. It will dry your hair as well. I recommend this to everyone, especially women who are going natural!

I cannot see the quality is poor but the elastic is so tight that it is extremely uncomfortable. I do not have a particularly large head and this is never been an issue
