This is a top quality premium tea that puts supermarket brands to shame.I'll admit until recently I was PG tips man, I drank tea so rarely that the thought of going through the process of making a cup of tea with loose tea really didn't fill me with a need to even try it. I like tea, but I am more of a coffee man.By all accounts she likes the tea, not that she really got much of a chance to try it as, as soon as I had a taste of this tea, I sort of kidnapped it and made it my own. Those of you who like me had only ever tea brewed from a teabag will be in for a huge taste surprise. Where the tea you get from a tea bag will seem perfectly OK, once you taste this you won't go back. The tea just seems so much fresher and full of flavour, your morning cuppa will have a much more complex and please taste signature while still remaining clearly a cup of tea. It's like that scene in The Wizard of OZ where Dorothy steps out of the house from a back and white grey filled world to a brilliant technicolour flavoured world of taste explosions. I have never had a cup of tea like this.The tea comes packaged in a bag that just screams quality, with a design that wouldn't look out of place in a designer shop,This tea uses quality silk bags rather than the bleached paper you get in cheaper brands, this means that all of the flavoursome essential oils are free ti dissolve into your tea and not be absorbed by the paper.While I still haven't completely replaced my morning coffee with a cup of tea, thanks to the experience of this tea blend I am now drinking a lot more tea. You should get around 50 cups of tea from a 100g bag of the tea leaves, so it is a bit more expensive than a shop bougfht packet of bagged tea, but trust me you are worth it.

You can see, smell and taste the quality straight away, and the tin makes it a lovely present to those who have strayed from the path of Tetley. I'm very happy with it.

Good gift

Quality Rooibos tea in a good container although it is smaller than I expected (I know it says 100g), the tea is of excellent organic quality and can be used twice rather than thrown away after each brew which doubles your money in my opinion. the container may be small but it is quality and just big enough for the refill packs (and Wittards).

Chateau Rouge has now become my favourite Rooibos tea! Love the packaging, not a bit of plastic in sight and the tins are lovely and reusable.The tea has a lovely dark red colour, smells devine and tastes even better! I make mine in a tea pot infuser or if I’m in a hurry, in biodegradable fill your own tea bags. The green tea flavoured with Orange is also very good and a ‘ must try’. Will definitely order again and highly recommend.

I really wanted to love this tea but the best thing I can say about it is that it comes in a nice tin. At nearly 6 times more expensive than the Freshpak tea I have been buying, I expected it to be full flavoured but it is rather bland. I drink it black, so the flavour isn't being masked by milk, there just isn't much flavour at all. Perhaps I got a bad batch but when its costing 36p per cup the quality control should be better. I think I'll stick with Freshpak.

This is simply "Rooibos at its best". Wonderful product, truly great container, great seller, and it was even better than they said. That is hard to beat. I will definitely keep buying this product from this seller.
