Kengo Kuma: Complete Works Hardcover – April 1, 2013

Really well done and interesting book!!

The only lacking part is drawings or sketches explaining the tectonic of the design. I would have been great if each project is supported by design process followed with some detail drawings.

Enjoyed the commentary of Kengo Kuma, natural and very expressive. Frampton is rather stiff, I'll borrow his phrasing going forward. He is a tolerable sesquipedalian, was curiously selected to write the introduction given the propensity of Kengo Kuma to eschew occidental formalism. So scratch a star.

Amazing Monograph on Kengo Kuma. The preface by Kuma is amazing and really makes you understand all of the focus of his work and concept.A beautiful book with a great selection of projects. It's a shame thought that some of Kuma's more recent and more caracteristic projects didn't make it to the book.Anyway, for an admirer of Kengo Kuma, this is the perfect book that makes you wish there were a book with all is projects. That being impossible, this is a great choice.

A beautiful book cataloging the extraordinary creative talent and achievements of Kengo Kuma. I joy to have this book on hand and to share.

This publication is certanly beautiful. Short but exquisit intro by Kuma-san and a more in-depth analysis by Frampton. It is a bit disappointing that not all Kuma's work are featured, like the Fuan Teahouse, CCCWall, Tsunagu and few recent shops and other inspiring installations.The book, despite this gaps, remains an invaluable reference.
