Works well for cctv wire nd cat6 cable cutting..Do not use it for aluminum wire of 10mm above.

It is meant for cutting hard and soft wires, but so far I have not used it for this purpose. About a month ago I wanted to take out some sticks, thin ropes etc. which were tied at the bottom of my gate to prevent stray pups from entering into our house. I found that scissors or a knife would not serve the purpose and they would not open by bare hands. I thought what should I do to snip these strings, ropes, plastics. The word "snip" created a sort of magic and the thought of trying this Taparia Side Cutter came to my mind. I took out this plier. Within minutes the work was done, with ease and little effort. A similar problem arose when I had to cut a thick plastic string tied round a sack containing rations. Once again this plier did the job. I still do not know how long this will last or how thick wires it can cut, but can say with confidence that its blades are sharp and precise, and can fit into a small or a big palm. I am writing this because there are some tools which fit only in big hands.
