Opted for this over similar items because, due to the higher price, I expected a quality item that would not only give me peace of mind that my car was safe but also that it would outlast the competition. Being twice the price of most others and boasting of “four times more protection that will last a lifetime” I’m somewhat surprised that, within a year it no longer performs as it once did. On initial arrival I was pleased with the key holder, it held my car key in the ‘back protected pouch’ and my house keys in the front ‘non protected pouch’ Initially it was a pain having to faff about extracting the key every time you approached the car, especially when you were carrying bags or such like but the protection it afforded made it worthwhile. I’m approaching a year with the pouch now and although the item itself has withstood the test of time it no longer protects the car and I’m able to open and start the vehicle without extracting the key. A lot of items only last a year but these do not profess to last a lifetime and cost considerably more than similar items. I have always been of the adage “buy cheap buy twice” which has stood me in good stead but sadly with this key fob holder you will not get what you pay for.

The product works great for about 3-4 months then just stops working.Used to be able to walk to the car with the keys in the pouch and it doesn't detect them.Could sit in it and try to start the car and it wouldn't respond.This worked well for around 3 and a half months then just stopped.No matter how many times I place the key in the gold lined pouch, the car now unlocks and starts.IT seems these are okay for short periods but expect to but 3 to 4 of them per yearEdit:Added an additional star as contacting their customer service and having a replacement sent out was hassle-free.Recommend buying 2 of these, so one is always in "stock" during the period you are waiting for their replacement to come out

From the get go you can clearly tell that the pouch is better constructed than the others I have had. I appreciate this maybe early days and I hope to re-review in a couple of weeks of how I'm getting on. But a few things I can state is that the pouch is no more than 4 fingers tall and that the keys sit secure in the pouch. I've had to tie a ribbon to the key to make taking the key from the pouch easy. I appreciate it comes with a chain but when the chain is being used the pouch is a bit more of a struggle to close. The pouch is well constructed and is made from a hessian type material. So far it blocks the key signal well it maybe early days but I can honestly state that it comes across far superior to the other Faraday pouches I've had in the past.

Does the job, well thought out design, seems well made and durable on the whole. After 3 months use there is some fraying to the edge of the non-secure pocket, and I find the pockets a bit small, so can be a bit fiddly (and, possibly, hence fraying) to retrieve the key. I do use the non-secure pocket for my house key, as well as the car key when it is in use, but as this seems to me to be a sensible use (and there are 2 useful key chains, one in each pocket, attached) so I think the non-secure pocket should more easily accommodate both. The links between wallet and chain are weak and easily broken, but fine when replaced by a small key ring.

This is my second purchase of this signal blocker pouch, it is sturdy and looks good. It originally worked very well, unfortunately it stopped working after 6 months which meany my car could be started even though the key was in the secure pocket.I am giving the product another try to see if they have been upgraded over the last few months.

Bought this for my keyless car I have been using it for a few months now. Definitely recommend as not had any issues with the wallet. As long as you put your key in the golden pocket of the pouch no signal gets through. So far working well.****UPDATE**** 04/01/2020So yesterday as I was approaching my car I had the key inside my wallet and the car locks unlocked. I was really shocked. The wallet has stopped blocking the signal. Like the other reviewers have mentioned the wallet stops blocking the signal after several months. The seller does offer lifetime warranty. I guess next step is to contact the seller.P.S I have ordered another wallet from a different seller and will see how long that lasts.

Ok so WeShield have been great, contacted me to send me a replacement very quickly - can’t fault that. So new pouch looks to be good, blocks RFID - so will see how the manufacturing quality is with this one (changed my rating to 4 stars; would have been 5 if hadn’t have to replace).Original Review below:Like most of these RFID key holders (certainly the last 3 I’ve had of different brands) the manufacturing quality is poor... faraday pouch already starting to fray so won’t be long until I have to try another brand (had it a week or so!)

We bought this after a friend had his car (with a keyless ignition) stolen whilst his keys were still in the house.The pouch is very sturdy but neat and looks good. It has two pockets, the gold one is where your keys need to be kept when not in use and a second one when the key needs to be active. There is a key ring so that you can attach your key fob before tucking it in one of the pockets. There is a velcro strap so that you can attach the pouch to a belt if necessary.We were so pleased with the pouch we brought a second one for the spare key fob.
