Easy to use and in way less than 2 weeks I had my results; 12.7. Sardines and cod liver oil did the trick. Since this result I have backed off on cod liver oil because of SO much vitamin A. I now just eat sardines daily and will recheck in a few months.

I never received the results from this company after taking the test.

It took couple wks to get results but I needed this test. It showed how VERY LOW I was on omega 3 oils that are vastly important for good health. I will def be upping my intake now! I recommend everyone getting this tested for sure.

This test is easy to use, requires only 1 drop of blood from a finger prick. Online results are available in just a few days. Even if you supplement with algal oil (or for omnivores, fish oil), the only way to know if you're supplementing the right amount of EFA/DHA is to test. Lab-based serum tests cost 2 to 4x what this little kit does, so this is a great value. When you get your results, the report has a link to a calculator to help figure out how much more Omega3 you need to supplement if you come up low.My only small gripe was the spring-loaded lancet included in the kit has a lot of force and bruised my finger tip, but that is what it is.

The test comes with a device that pricks your finger so that you can draw blood. You only get 2 shots from the 2 devices that are included. I used both devices but struggled to get enough drops of blood to fill the circle on a paper card that is to be used for the blood test. But apparently I filled enough of the circle, because after about a week after mailing in my blood sample I received an email detailing my result. All in all, I am satisfied with the purchase and would probably recommend it for other people interested in finding out their omega-3 levels. The test result just gives you one number, a percentage, usually between 2% and 12%. It would have been nice to see separate DHA & EPA numbers.
