Just ordered these for my daughter, but I had quite the time figuring out the titles of the 4 books in the set:Monster HighMonster High:The Ghoul Next DoorMonster High: Where There's a Wolf, There's a WayMonster High: Back and Deader Than EverThe Barnes and Noble site shows all 4, with their titles.

For anyone who is a fan of the dolls or/and the animated shorts series & cgi movies this collection is a must. Presented in a slightly altered Monster High universe with a slightly different outlook on normies versus monsters it's a refreshing change.All your favourite characters are there, eventually. It sometimes takes time for them to show up (or for you to realize they've been there all the time, just hidden) but close to the whole main cast and some you've never seen before make an entrance.The story itself diverges from what we're all used to but not in a way that hurts or damages our memories of what's come before. Rather, it shows our favourite ghouls and their friends, living, dead and undecided from angles we've never seen before, reading their thoughts, hopes and dreams as well as their fears and nightmares.Initially I thought each book was completely self contained, which is mostly true as each covers a specific event or series of events in their world and they could be easily read by themselves, however there is an ongoing storyline that continues from book to book so reading each in order rewards the reader for their efforts. Suffice to say, after the events in all these books, their whole world will never be the same again, for monsters OR normies!

a great addition to any monster high fans collection. these were a christmas gift for my 10 year old daughter and she couldn't put them down - she read them all within a couple of weeks. she said they were brilliant and that she really enjoyed them.

A Birthday gift for a 5 year old! She absolutely loved it! She loves to read! These are great books. Will likely buy the other set when she is just about done this one

For this who are interested in how the Monster lived before there was a Monster High School, this book series is for you. Read and fall along with Frankie Stein as she learns about life as a Monster in hiding. The series gives the characters of Monster high a new depth of who they really are and the obstacles they had to over come just to be themselves in society of "normies" that do not know they are there and then fear them when they learn of them.
