Judge Sabatier IV, 15cm/6" Cooks Knife

You know when you buy something which is so good that it exceeds reasonable expectations?Yup, despite this being a mere cook's knife and an inexpensive one at that this is one of those rare things.The blade is thicker than you might expect and it is well-weighted as well as being extremely sharp and of reasonable-quality steel that's not of the very bendy variety.For an aspiring home cook like myself it's as near to perfection as anything that I could reasonably afford.

The knife arrived with a great sharp edge, a very nice knife to hold and use.This one is perfect for the amateur cook at home on a budget. I haven't had it long enough to see how the blade holds it edge but it's held up well over the last month or so.I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for an efficient chef knife on a budget.

This knife is excellent it makes light work of anything I've thrown at it. Judging by the quality of the material and the lack of a buttress at the near end of the blade I trust that it will be easy to resharpen down the line when required leading to a long life for this blade.

Sabatier is a good make and is always good quality. The handle of this one feels a bit light, although I understand that it is balanced to the knife and this one is only 15 cms.

Very cheap price compared to sabatier own brand knives and super sharp. Couldn't be happier with this product. Highly recommended.
