OK, to be honest, I massacre these cables. Yup, I cut the plug end right off, strip back the jacket, and transmogrify it into the cable that I need that doesn't exist ANYWHERE! So I know these things are built pretty well and durable. The connector ends are well molded with a molded bend relief in there, stretch shearing off the wires would be harder to do. The shielding is on the light side, however perfect for me, but since they are so short it is a non-issue. It would be nice if they were half the price, but I guess there is a minimum for the making and packaging. I know I can buy longer ones for the same price, but these are made just right for my purpose so I will get them when I need them. I am an actual customer, and I buy these by the ten count. ThankS! : )

Fixed the screen flickering issue on my 2014 C7 corvette stingray. It would occasionally flicker and I could temporarily fix it by sometimes honking or jiggling the cable behind the screen. I decided to look up how to actually get a permanent fix and someone on the corvette forums did something similar. You will need to take apart the dash, center console, and the actual screen unit to access the backside where the old cable is located. It’s not too hard just find a YouTube video and have some patience. The hardest part was disconnecting the “quick connect” electrical harness, which took forever to do. But yea mostly just screws, clips, and quick connects until eventually you get the entire screen unit out, dissect that even further to access the backside where there’s two usb cables, one leads to nothing (no PDR on my c7) and one is for the screen. It’s the top one in the picture with the green motherboard showing, disconnect that, and put this new cable in which is much firmer and won’t wiggle loose. Then connect the end of the new cable to the start of the old cable and I just sort of routed it my own way. Just make sure it doesn’t get crushed by the screen moving up and down since the cable is much longer now. The second picture shows my first attempt, it would get a little crushed so I moved it more down and in the back (first pic) and that’s how I left it. Cheap $4 fix for a more durable cable than oem and fits perfectly. TLDR: Fixed my screen flickering, will take a long time, watch YouTube videos and you’ll eventually get it done 👍

I bought this cable to extend an input for a flight controller on a small 250 FPV drone. I have only had it for about 2 weeks, but it has already proven useful and durable enough for the application. It has a bit of rigidity though, slightly less flexible than your average phone charger, but able to bend into a full loop to reduce the length by about half. The ends were a bit more bulky than I wanted, but the male portion of the cable was long enough to get into the small space that I needed it for. I took off half a star for the flexibility, and the other half for the size of the two ends. It has lived through a few crashes so far without any trouble, delivery was fast, and it wasn't very expensive. I will be buying another one for a friend.

I used this cable to repair the infotainment screen on my C7 Corvette. The factory cable gets ruined if the screen is moved up and down to access the storage compartment behind it. This cable replaces the factory cable perfectly and seems more tolerant of movement with the screen. The dealer won't replace the cable and will only replace the whole unit for $1500. 5 bucks for the win

We use the extension to reduce the wear on the mini USB of our diagnostic machine. With the extension connected each time we download data from the device, the wear is transferred to the extension connector instead of the machine which would be costly to repair.

Used this cord to connect my PS3 charging station to my PS3 bluetooth headset for charging. Worked great. The charging station I have showed red while it was charging, and green upon full charge, so I know the cable transferred the power successfully. Overall, the cable preformed exactly as expected. My only regret is that it's a little bit shorter than I would have liked, as I could use another few inches to make it easier to plug in the PS3 headset, but that's my fault for not buying the longer cord, so I can't penalize the cord or the maker for that. Would gladly buy again otherwise!

I have purchased two of these and they both had the same problem. Just barely touching the cable makes it lose connection pretty easily.
