ir transmitter(remote) was very flimsy im not impressed, ir receiver is fine. I paid too much for this combo was better off buying just the tsop 1738 receiver. I recommend not to buy this combo you can easily use your tv , dvd remotes btw kudos to amazon for late delivery -_-

Very bad product
I recieved a 1838 ir reciever(not 1738) and which is not working also.The remote is also of very poor quality. I recomment that you should not buy this.
