Barmah HatsX-Wide Brim Cattle Suede Leather Hat - Item 2020

I needed a hat for working outdoors, and wanted something somewhat nice that I could use while out shooting with the local muzzleloader club as well (something that could look period correct). So far this hat is fitting the bill.The wide brim does a good job at protecting me from the sun; when they say it's extra wide they mean it's extra wide. It doesn't get too hot in the sun either. I was surprised that although normally I wear a Large hat, I ordered XLarge thinking that the leather hats run a touch smaller... I was wrong though. The sizing kit helped out a bunch that this hat came with, but next time I'll make sure to order my normal size. I'll probably end up ordering another Barmah hat, a mesh version, for summertime duty.The hat has a nice smell to it, and the leather is quite supple & soft.

Fit perfectly when using instructions. Feels so comfy. I’ve never had a hat that fit so well. Thought the brim was freakishly large until I used it in the sun. Keeps me super cool, looks super cool.

I love the wide brim. It is truly wide and not like so many hats that I have bought that are not really as wide as claimed! I would buy this hat again in a minute!The hat size runs a little bit large, but my experience is that hats shrink over time after being carried around in a hot car -- thus, I wanted it to run a little large. In the meanwhile, i use the size adjusters that come with the hat. I will remove the one I use if and when the hat shrinks!

I have been wearing Barmah hats since 1977. They are very durable. This is my most recent purchase. I love the fact I can fold it up and it comes back to the shape. It is completely waterproof. I get folks asking where I got this great looking hat.

This is a high quality hat that looks great. They do run large, so I ordered a size down from what was indicated in the sizing chart provided. However, after several weeks of use wearing, The brim has warped and is now floppy and weird. My wife said I look like an old 49er or Yosemite Sam when I'm wearing it. Both of us tried to reshape the brim to look like it originally did, or like the product pictures, but we were unsuccessful. Now I will look like Yosemite Sam for the rest of my life.

The hat is soft and supple and easy to pack. It regains it's shape quickly and easily after packing. Excellent Quality hat, I am a fan for life!
