First off I want to give you all some background. I'd spent about a month researching yoga mats. I went to the local sporting good stores, checked Amazon, read a ton of reviews etc. before purchasing this one. This is the thickest mat I'd come across and I have a bad back and wanted the mat to do normal exercises as well as yoga for my lower back. I've been using this every day since I received it. Which btw, it was delivered incredibly fast and in a nice looking box. I saw that this came with two towels one for the mat (a lonnnng one) and one for myself like a sweat rag. They're incredibly soft and absorbant unlike some reviews I've seen. I think the towels are great and of a high quality too. Much more than I'd expected to receive. The mat itself is super long and very comfy and thick just like they said it would be. My back feels very supported and cushioned at the same time which is perfect for my bad back! I have yet to use the blocks but they are also of nice high quality. I highly recommend this product. Some of the Mars I've seen at like REI OR SPORTS AUTHORITY were around 70-80 dollars, not nearly as thick, nor were they of the same high quality material that this is made with. I was so excited to get this today, then I opened it. I was looking for a larger mat with more cushion for my knees. I was drawn to this set for the reviews and the fact it would be a pretty set instead of the hodge podge of hand me downs and leftovers I have now.First, the good. The mat is soft, all the parts were included, everything was in good condition and well packed. The mat straps are a carrying strap with elastic loops for the mat and a woven part for the handle.For the bad. The pictures show that the first thing I noticed was the color is not what was in the pictures, or on the box. I didn't like it. The next thing I noticed was that the mat is slightly narrower than a regular mat, kind of my fault as the dementions are listed. Also it isn't very sticky, so it slid on my hardwood floors, since I have to take wide stances a lot and my feet are off the mat, it's very important that my hands and the mat stay put. The blocks disappointed me the most. They are very small and very squishy, not the stability prop a large or inflexible yogi needs. I showed one next to one of my old standard blocks. The towels were soft and had more of a chenille texture, I have no idea how absorbent they are because I'm returning the set. If you are thin, flexible, and maybe want to look cute in a class, this may be for you. For those that made it this far, my current set up that isn't pretty or very portable is a thick firm foam mat, meant to be used under a sleeping bag, sandwiched between two old standard yoga mats. It's soft and stable.

My review is a little late being written but I wanted to wait a month and ensure that I actually used each of the items. I am new to yoga but have practiced with friends, up until last month where I began going 4 times a week. The mat is thick, and it isn't hard so it feels like you're laying on a rough floor. It's a soft and smooth surface, thick enough to be comfortable. The towels that come with this set are soft, and I've used them each time I go. They've been washed more times than I can count and they still look the way they did when originally obtained.The blocks are probably one of my favorite parts for core building, they are smooth, yet tough enough to hold my weight which is a pretty decent sum.The strap I consistently use more when I am at home. It's a thick and extremely sturdy material.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase as everything has held up well and is good quality. The shipping was great too, prime is always wonderful. 😊If I need to, I would gladly buy this set again.

Hi Amazonians! I am new with Yoga and as new student I had a "regular" yoga Matt for my first class. I found out fast that I need more cushion for my knees for doing some moves. I researched Amazon and bought this wonderful set based on your amazing reviews! Thank you all for providing your feedback! I am using this set in every class I go and I get a lot of compliments and where I got it.It is soft, it provides more cushioning specially if you are like me have knee issues. It really helps your knees. It is very easy to clean! I read that some reviewers stated about "smell" I didn't have the smell issue, I opened the package and let it air the night before the class. The towels that came with this package are perfect size. One is large good when doing hot yoga and the small one is perfect to dry yourself during exercise. Bought this yoga kit for my partner who's a personal trainer and fitness instructor, as she is about to start a yoga qualification too. We are both really impressed with the quality of everything in this kit. The mat is thick and comfortable to use, and feels like memory foam. The towels are a good size and feel soft and of good quality, and so are the yoga blocks and strap. The Teal colour is accurate to the photo and is a very pleasant calm and soothing colour. Overall this was excellent for the price and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a yoga kit. There might be slightly cheaper ones out there but for a couple of pounds more I really would recommend this for the quality. It also arrived on time and had no problems at all with the transaction. Happy all round.

Excellent value. I purchased this some time ago as a starter pack for yoga. The two towels come in handy during yoga workouts (one for the mat and one for your face or hands). I have moved onto a thinner mat now, as this mat stretches during poses but offers excellent impact absorption. The two blocks and strap round off a full package for yoga and are great to have to push your practice. Great value - everything you need and it all matches!

It is very pretty calming colour set, it is also very tactile and soft set. And I mean the whole set. The yoga mat is thick but not throwing you off balance, has very nice and warm feel to it, you can mindfully concentrate on your feet to take away the pain elsewhere while stretching. The yoga blocks are firm with soft touch to them and handy to me ( I am very stiff beginner ) to support my back or to extend my reach to floor as my hamstrings will not allow me yet to touch my toes. Very satisfied with this set, would recommend it as a gift to any yoga person. M

I have just taken up yoga this year but wanted a decent mat. This package is brilliant, I don't use the microfibre towels but I do use the blocks and the mat is really thick and comfortable. I don't roll it back up, I slip it under the couch till the next time. The strap is also a very good, sturdy one as I've seen some that are quite flimsy, this isn't. Plus a really good price.

This set is wonderful. Really thick mat, which is great for my old knees, I use the big towel on the mat for relaxing after working out. The blocks and strap are really useful and the colour is beautiful. Well worth the money !
