the picture is photoshop, the color is not that rich, it's rather faded more so when you put them on and the fabric stretches. However! they are very elastic so they fit really well and are comfy. They appear to be mid-shin high but they are about a 1/4 shin high(i am 6'4)

As it's a digital image, you would expect some possible difference in color, but these socks are disappointing. They're meant to be worn long, but the Galaxy pattern was nearly unidentifiable once I pulled them up. White splotches showed. The part on my foot still looked okay, but nobody would see that part. I ended up wearing they rolled down to try and preserve the pattern, but I can't say I love them.
