Used on buildings and vehicles to strengthen glass in the event of impact the glass will shatter but the film will hold the glass in place. Upgrades glazing in buildings to current regulations EN12600 (1B1) and EN356 (P2A) by far surpassing the old BS6206 class 'A'. See diagram above in images of current safety glass regulations. The orange shaded areas are the areas that must be safety glass in public buildings and must be marked as safety glass otherwise it will be deemed to not be safe glass. This film is often referred to as 'bomb blast' film due to its strength and ability to hold glass in place in the event of a distant bomb blast. All government buildings and most government vehicles i.e army, navy, police etc. have this film fitted to them, as do most large public areas, likes of shopping centres etc. to hold glass in place in the event of contact. - Specification: 100 Micron Brings glass to safety standard EN12600 (2B2).
