I am new to 3D printing but not plastic manufacturing and DIY stuffs. I also cram in more research than my wife can handle when getting into something new. These are the exact same platforms that come with the QIDI Tech 3d printers, so they include the spring steel plate with the blue abrasive "sticker" on top.• Well thought out platform, much better than these guys using glass IMO• Provides enough grip but still easy to remove parts• Will last a long time with proper use and maintenance• Steel so it will attach very firm to your magnetic bedLearn from my mistakes and why some reviews are not so great:• Do not use a scraper• Always use a glue stickIf you use a scraper you will wear down what makes this platform so great, it's grip. If you are having a hard time removing parts do as the Chinglish printed on the platform states; pls use a glue stick to glue on the bottom plate.••Translation•• ALWAYS use a glue stick on the top of the platform before printing. Do not use the pink one that comes with your QIDI Tech or whatever they are shipping when you read this. Use an Elmers glue stick, the one that is purple so you can see where you are applying. Put on a thin layer in one direction, then another thin layer in the opposite direction. Smooth out with your finger if you get blobs.Your part will pop off MUCH easier while giving it extra stick-em during the print.If you have issues removing your part only use a thin pry tool. I picked up a few made for 3D printing here on The Amazon.••• ALWAYS••• wash your platform after each print. Use a towel or sponge or your child's favorite stuffed animal to remove the glue. It easily comes off with warm water but the groves in the platform need some loving rubbing action.I made the mistake at first and scraped the crap out of my platforms with the scraper QIDI Tech provides which are only good with blue tape now.This set includes three, and if you have the QIDI Tech printer you now have five. Good to have extras so you can prep and keep the printer making money. Or around the house stuffs, whatever your use is.

I found that the print surface works best if you use glue stick. Tape will work but is very difficult to take off the part without soaking in water first. Do what I did I took off the blue surface and replaced it with PEI. Works great with PEI.

Ive used these for many PLA prints with no issues and they just pop of when cooled. ABS sticks to good to them and recommend tape on top of them.
