Long Review but maybe it can help some people installing this thing
I wanted to write a review on how this thing works, specifically in a 2025 F250 with non amplified sound system. The directions are decent but they leave a lot of questions that I have had to figure out on my own. First of all this thing is a great product, if your vehicle has bass roll off to help protect the $2.00 factory speakers you’re going to need this. The inputs and outputs are pretty straight forward, and there are pictures that show that setup pretty well, the accubass setup is a little odd and so is how the sub output works, if your are running 4 channels into this thing it can output a 3rd channel for a sub woofer, but…..it will be tied to the gain level of what ever channel you tie it too, so your clipping level and gain dials with that channel will also affect the channel 3 output. You will see this when you initial set up the clipping levels of the dials. For example…..I set mine up to where my output channel 3 gets its audio from the rear speakers channel of this thing (channel 2). When I adjust the clipping or gain levels on my channel 2 output it will also affect how much gain channel 3 gets regardless that channel 3 has its own gain level. It will all work the way you want it to in the end but you are gonna have to play with it a bit to get it correct. Also make sure you set the bass, treble, and speed/volume compensation to flat on your head unit before you try and adjust this thing or it’s not going to be setup correctly. I had to do a bit of research to properly do this, ended up finding a write up on how to set the gain levels using a 1khz test tone for front and rear speakers outputs (channel 1&2) and a 50hz test tone for the sub output(channel 3) *important note you don’t need or want your speakers to play sound while your doing this so just unplug the outputs so you don’t damage the speakers. Next thing to explain is the load select- selectors! I’m still not 100% sure what these really do but my research has told me that newer vehicles have built safety features into the head units that detect resistance into the speakers, if the head unit doesn’t see the correct resistance it will shut down the channel outputs that go to those speakers, this will also be something that you might run into, if your noticing random speakers just not playing noise this is probably the culprit, you may need to change this selection based on what your vehicle needs. Also on fords if you change this selector your head units that will need to power down entirely before it attempts to turn the speakers back on again, so this could take some time to get it setup correctly as well. Only bring this up so you don’t think the product is defective, it works perfect, it just has to be setup correctly with every different vehicle! Lastly, the LoC can generate its own remote output which is super nice, but again….because all vehicle are different you may not want to use this option, on a 2025 ford this feature works great on both GTO and Audio selectors, however be aware the GTO selector can sense a change in voltage and turn the unit on even if you open a door and the can lights come on. The audio selector is similar and works good but be aware that some vehicles (2025 F250) will turn the unit on as soon as you start the vehicle, however there is something going on with ford that seems like it continues to send an audio signal for a long time after the vehicle is shutoff……either way both of these options work but seem to not want to turn the unit off for almost 10 minutes after you remote the key from the vehicle….my suggestion is run a dedicated remote wire regardless of the convenience. Hope this review helps a few people that might be struggling with this. Once you get it going it is super solid!

Do not recommend- possible used part
No what I ordered at all. Missing the wiring clips to hook it up. Missing the RCA cables listed in the ad. Package looks like it’s be reused. Thanks for nothing and putting my install back another week. If I could give no stars I would. Do better!

Sets up clean and easy
**Btw** I used these cncess rca cables to amp on amazon. Great cables cheap and short runs. Review: A high quality unit that once set up delivers exactly what I want. The price is somewhat high but the quality is there. It was very easy to set up and wire. An intuitive unit that makes it hard to tune wrong with sensitive lights that, for me, engaged at the limits of my setup and mated perfectly with my known voltage settings so if you don’t have a multimeter you can depend on the clip indicators for setup. Excellent sound quality and more than just boat settings. It’s an intelligent unit that provides what is advertised. I thought about cheaper units but what really sealed the deal for me is the resale value this loc holds vs other offerings. That’s a strong indicator of quality and viability. I am so pleased that now I wonder why the rest of my system is not all made up of this brands products. This unit is installed in a 2010 Mercedes e350 with the Harmon kardon logic 7 factory system into a recoil rs1000.1 amp running two infinity kappa 1000w 10” subs at the moment outputting at 4.95v which is just under the maximize light engaging on the unit. I wouldn’t say that it is great value for the money but you get your moneys worth.

Easy install / Sounds great
Worked as expected. Made installing subwoofer on 22 BRZ Limited easy. Just 4 wires spliced from factory rear amp 10pin connector (4 preamp signals) and tapped into battery 12V/Gnd going to the sub for power. It has 12v remote Out also to send to the sub. There is a switch to use sound signals for turn-on so you don’t need a 12v remote In. Use the included RCAs to subwoofer (RTB10A). It’s a smaller box also so easy to find mounting space. I just 3M’d it down.
