CAVEAT EMPTOR
What began as an excellent premise, (i.e. an historical, fictional account of Abram, the Father of Religions), quickly regressed into a sacrilegious and blasphemous attack of the Biblical account of Abram to Abraham of the Old Testament. The "story", as told by the "author", could easily be shown on Saturday Night Live, and then " downward and onward" to the Comedy Club, (the midnight show), and then "bottom out" at the strip club. Even in the publishing world, (unfortunately), " ….the downward road is crowded...".

Not for the Serious Reader
If you are reading the Bible and are a more serious reader, I would reconsider purchasing this book. Unfortunately I paid for but could not finish it. It read more like a romance novel with a writing that was more comical than spiritual in nature. Not sure where some of the historical parts were cited and whether they are actually proven. I have already deleted the book from my library.

Take a deep breath between a million laughs. This is an amazing story.
Don Chapman should have been a writer for SNL in the 70's. How can you laugh so hard while at the same time get so in tune with the Old Testament. This story offers a logical explanation and answers to many of today's cultural and political problems. Chapman is so creative yet so down to earth and honest. The bottom line: This is untapped historical entertainment at its best. My buddies from the 60's and 70's will go crazy or this stuff. And there are a lot of Chapman's 'one-liners' you'll be sharing with your friends. I think Adam Sandler would be the perfect Abraham if they turned this into a movie.

The Greatest Love Triangle Story Ever Told" Abraham, Sarah and Hagar
This entertaining story offers nothing less than the answer to world peace -- or at least peace between Jews, Christians and Muslims, and that's a big chunk of the world's population. We all need to look to Abraham's one god of creation and life and not the divisive faiths that followed Abraham.
