Make you use the biggest size possible to avoid breaking it off.
I bought this set to remove 7 stripped torx head t-30 size screws in the head of my Dad’s Oldsmobile. I only used the two smallest ones since they are what matched the size of the bolts I was removing best. I broke the smallest one off in the drilled bolt in the first minute of use. I believe it was my fault more than the product since it was slightly too small for the size of the bolt. After going up to the next size the extractor did bite in well and remove 5 of the bolts before it began to twist. I did have to use a small 1/2 battery powered impact to break the 5 free so again I don’t blame the product as much as the situation it had to endure. At first glance I thought these were identical to a name brand set I have but after drilling a broken one out I don’t think they are the same material. These will get a lot of stripped hardware out if used properly by the shade tree mechanic but they are not a pro grade (heavy duty) tool in my opinion.

Bought this for my husband; mechanic by trade. His coworker let him use his set; liked it so much I ordered a set for him. Great price too!

It works
Overall good product nice packaging this is a good tool to have on hand and hope you don’t have to use weekend warriors know what I’m talking about, it’s a pain to have broken bolts etc.. but worked great for removing an exhaust bolt for me with a sheared off head

7mm allen bolt
I didn't even have to drill out the already rounded allen hole. Found the right sized extractor socket, banged it on with the use of a shallow socket and a long extension and it dug right in as I turned the bolt and extracted the nasty bolt.

Worked great
Was able to remove a rounded out hex head bolt with ease on the first try. I tapped the the extractor into the stripped hex bolt put a 1/2 inch socket on it and backed the damaged bolt out.
