Do the left-sided dolleys work just as well as the right-sided version? Any problems? Or advantages?

Standard GoJaks® are right handed. When you insert the jack around the tire, the pedal is mounted on the left and rises to the right. Left-handed units are the opposite. This reverse pedal positioning is important when the vehicle is locked or disabled and the front wheels are turned to an extreme left or right position. In these circumstances, operation of the foot pedal on a standard GoJak® may prove difficult as the pedal could be pointing inside the wheel well. This is when a left hand GoJak® is convenient as the pedal position is more accessible on a sharply turned wheel. For normal shop use, left hand units are unnecessary.

Question 3

I have an aluminum bass boat with a total weight of 2967lbs. on a single axle trailer.  Will the 6313 be enough to handle this boat and trailer?

Accepted Answer

The GoJak® G6313 is rated to handle a max weight of 1,575 lb/unit or a 6,300lb vehicle with 4 units.  Therefore two GoJak® used on a single axle would be rated for 3,150 lbs.

Zendex Tool also manufactures a larger unit, G7016, that is rated at 1,750 lb/unit or a 7,000 lb vehicle with 4 units.

Question 4

Will this work on Racedeck flooring or similar floor?

GoJak® is designed to be rolled on a flat hard smooth surface.  You may find it quite difficult to move a vehicle with any sort of wheel dolly on that type of flooring. unless the wheels were very large.   Although it feels hard that type of modular flooring has significantly more give under load then a concrete floor.  Therefor the GoJak® casters will tend to "dig in" and become difficult to change direction.  It may require more than one person to get it moving.  It's not recommended.
