Typically love these lights. Ordered 2 boxes of 10 strands each and each one is missing 2 screws. That is 40 tiny screws. Before you say they are not needed... I have been down this road before. The screws ARE NEEDED to hold the battery pack properly. When I questioned the missing screws, I was told it was for the convenience of the customer when replacing the batteries. Here is what really happened when I used lights with only the 2 screws, they flickered, the batteries were able to move every so slightly within the battery case causing flickering. The battery case needs to be tightly closed to keep the battery connections from slipping. These are not expensive high quality lights, the covers do not snap tightly, and the screws do the job. I'm not dissing the lights, they are great lights for what they are and are used for, I'm just stressing the importance of all the screws being included when you buy a product.Vendor has promised to send the missing screws. I'm hoping that the red lights I ordered are not missing the screws.Updated 8/16/18 - Been in contact with vendor. Said they would ship out missing screws. Will absolutely update my review again when screws have been received. Going forward, suggest that packages be checked for missing screws.Updated 8/24/18 - Vendor got annoyed with me because I stated the issue with not including the 4 necessary screws. Ended up buying missing screws from Lowes. Not happy, but lights work fine now. We buys lots of these lights for our crafts. Very disappointed in the customer service. The vendor said it took too long to put in all 4 screws, but it is totally for the convenience of the customer. I said then if time is a constraint, simply include the screws in the box. No response.Updated 8/30/218 - Received package of screws from Vendor. Thank you. I will be happy to put the screws in the lights. As the vendor sent extra screws, I will not hesitate to order more lights, knowing I will need to place the screws (which isn't a problem). Good price, good product... but again... needs all 4 screws. Thank you.

I ordered a total of 50 of these strands. Every single one of them is missing 2 screws. This means I have to purchase and replace 100 tiny screws. Most of the lights worked out of the box, but some had the backs popped open slightly (because the screws were missing!) and had to be opened and have the batteries adjusted. I left a few of them on for awhile to test my setup plan for the event I'm using them for in a week and found some of them flickered and stopped working because the pack does not close tightly without the missing screws. If I had only planned to use a few of these I might not care as much, but I really don't have time to replace 100 screws because this company wanted to save a few bucks. I would have rather paid more for a complete product. Please fix your product!

I ordered the green but it was a very light color. Realt a turquoise rather than that “acid green” (#8FFE09) as shown in the photos. Maybe I can fix them with cellophane. I tried a dark green sharpie and it only helped a little.

I hate button batteries ! wished they had 2 AAA so they would last longer and are easier to find.

Bought these as thank you gifts for the Scouts who helped with Cub Scout Day Camp! They loved them!!! Easy to use Nd worked great as lighting for their tents and cabins at their summer camp!

Small but good enough for most applications. These are bright and give off a good amount of light AND they come with batteries.

Order was on time. These lights are great. We have not used them very much yet so I can not attest to the battery life. We bought them to add light to glass blocks and bottles and to decorate for Halloween. They were the perfect size and color.

This made our Halloween costume awesome

Used this product to light the back of the green lantern insignia on my classroom flag. Nice and bright. They look great. Easy to use and durable for younger students to use.
