Not specifically what I ordered... and comes apart easy
I’m a little disappointed that I did not receive specifically what I ordered. I bought a 400 lb and got a 350. I know, not a big difference. Well, that magnet broke apart after my second outing. Make sure to get something to properly lock in/glue the threads on magnet to keep it from coming apart. Anyways, my complaint about the 350 400 lb difference is that I just bought a 1200 lb magnet to retrieve my lost magnet. It just came in and says 1000 lb on it. So when we buy these products, are the guys packaging the boxes just saying, “close enough!” And then throwing whatever on or are the magnets we’re buying are just gonna be round about what we want?

Super strong magnet
This magnet is advertised as 400lbs. BOOOYYY! do they mean it!So I'm out magnet fishing with a friend one day. We find a bridge that is on one of the main roads through town. So we're under this bridge doing our thing and for the most part we're finding bolts, nuts, and parts that are used in the construction of said bridge.Jokingly I say. " hey, do you think we would be able to pull out an ibeam if we catch one, or do you think the magnet will let go?"My friend shrugs. So I get the bright idea of testing it on this bridge we're under.... DONGGGGGGG!!!! this baby just slammed the bottom of the bridge like a sledge hammer. So loud in fact. A few drivers up above honked back! So now I gotta get it off. I'm gonna hang from it.... lol... maybe if i bounce a bit? Nope! This magnet is now one with a 4 ton steel I-beam.. my friend has now fallen over with laughter and is of no help. I'll slide it off! Yup, that does the trick. It also cuts through all the industrial grade coating on the bottom of this beam! With every yank I'm peppered with this stuff, but the magnet is coming off! I finally get it off the edge and inspect my handy work. Clean trench down to bare steel 3inches wide. And about 8inches long.. still a good day fishing.

Every promise fullfilled.
Delivery was on time and the magnet, with pre-assembled eye hook are perfect. Really strong magnet, easily holds 40 pounds with uneven connection as seen in my picture. Excellent all around.

Strong but not for magnet fishing???
Magnet is very powerful if you stick it directly to a thick piece of steel. It is a little light for magnet fishing it would grab a piece of metal and I would lose it half way up. I hooked a few big targets and with little force I would lose them. It could have been do to the magnet having rocks stuck to it obviously iron rocks. I am thinking about getting a 1000lb magnet to help with losing targets?

Buy for a good time!!!
It’s a good magnet. The kid and I haven’t been able to get out with it much. Shortly after I got it I called called for a liver transplant and magnet fishing was put on hold. On the last trip my daughter did catch a pair of vice grips.I bought the least expensive magnet but I enjoy this hobby so I will probably get a bigger one.I do recommend this company for service and price. It came quickly and packaged well so the delivery guy didn’t have to pry it off his shelf 😜!

Magnet
The magnet is the correct size that I wish to use for future adventures. Just bought 375 yards of 250 lb. fishing line.going to load the line on a very heavy weight (size) fishing rod and reel set-up. I am closer to 80 than I am to 70. Am a very fortunate fellow. Don't need treasure. Just want to play....

Would recommend stronger then expected well built and durable
Super strong magnet for the money. Being a back yard mechanic I’ve used it multiple times to find to find bolts and parts I dropped in the grass from my boat and cars. It’s already paid for itself twice in the time and money it’s saved me getting new parts. The kids had it stuck on the fridge and climbed up the side, the only way I got it off was by sliding it to the side. Don’t let your 5 year old play with it!

Using two of these magnets to sandwich your hand is NOT worth the hospital bill!!
WILL NOT STOP A CAR! Was given severe road rash while using this magnet! Had the rope tied to my belt, threw the magnet, and it stuck (very well) to a moving vehicle! Was dragged half a block before the rope broke. Very disappointed, had to buy new pants (for more reasons than one) so I don’t recommend trying to stop cars with it. Will try experimenting with the plate in my uncles head next...
