This back housing is pretty impressive, very easy to install (comes with a screwdriver, takes about 30 seconds total), and looks great. I recommend getting it if your OEM (original) back cracks and you want a cheap and cool looking replacement.It's very nice looking and quite useful as the mirror is perfect for looking at yourself. It does show fingerprints very easily.Unfortunately this cover is very fragile. After being dropped once from chest height onto a driveway, it shattered completely and exposed the inside of the phone. You get what you pay for, so if you know you won't be dropping it or have a case then this is a good buy. Otherwise stay away, it shatters more easily than the glass Apple back cover.

Product was inexpensive, it came quick in the mail, easy install with all instructions and tools required and was exactly as advertised. Tip: Get a sheet of paper to lay the parts on, especially the tiny screws. Do this on a flat table and be careful not to lose the screws! Install was fast and easy. I lost one screw. It looks great on my phone. That said...Two months into the install, the silver mirror is wearing off the corners and edges, and the glass is impossible to keep clean. I will probably order a more standard looking glass for my next purchase.

The product I received looked nothing like the back plate shown. It was much darker and hardly reflective at all. It looked cheap, but I decided to deal with it rather than return it and wait even longer for a replacement. Unfortunately, even willing to deal with false advertisement, I was still disappointed. The hooks inside which hold the back plate to the frame of the phone were incorrectly designed and shaped. Where the original plate has metal hooks which slide smoothly and snugly off or on, this product had cheap plastic hooks which would not allow the plate to slide into place. I thought for a moment I was making a mistake, but soon realized it was the plate. Cheap and poorly designed. It snapped in two before going on. If your first thought is it must have been an error on my part, think again. This is the third time I have replaced an iPhone screen and backplate. I never had this much trouble before. Once I tried an old, original back plate, it went on easily. I should have returned it, but it's not worth the hassle.

It's obvious the damage occurred in the factory and I was just the unlucky one that got it in the mail... It may have been mentioned in the description, but I didn't notice that it came with a protective cover to protect the mirror when you aren't using it.. thought that was pretty neat :)

It's is plastic and fits iPhone 4s from us cellular just fine come with screwdriver I didn't realize that but works good so far . The clear shell case that comes with the mirror back glass came scratched but I don't plan on using it

Bought this because it's a genius idea. The back is still awesome. But I had to remove the lens cover because it's a cheap piece of plastic that scratched up immediately. I would buy this but get an OEM glass lens cover.

Very shiny, mirror back. Has a dark cover that goes over it. Wondering if people who said it was black didn't separate the 2 pieces. Works well. Transformed my son's phone from very smashed back to nice and new.

This unit did well over the life-cycle of the iPhone 4S. I always liked the mirror effect of the cover. I got lots of kudos on how it worked.
