Magnet fishin' was fun!
I had the opportunity this summer to use this magnet for fishing metal objects out of the water. I used epoxy to lock the screw on before using and it worked great, even though I didn't 'catch' anything interesting. I nabbed a pipe and also what looked like the suspension rod off of a car, which was heavy. :) The one thing that was annoying was the groove on the bottom of the magnet that captured and held onto the little bits of rusted metal from my 'catch'. Hard to remove it!

Solid Construction. Solid Results
I am very please with both the product performance/quality and what I find to be the most outstanding customer service. I haven't put this magnet to test in the manner it was intended, but will share that it's become the favorite past time for my office! We take turns connecting this magnet to the commercial door frames to then hang off of them a wager who can remove it the fastest. It hold s our weight as we lean back and tug. Very strong. I'm 220lbs

Make sure you use loctite on the screw so it won't come loose and you lose your magnet.
Very strong magnet, though I can't see it pulling 500lbs. I put it on 1/4 inch steel and with some effort was able to pull it loose. Still will work for what I'm gonna use it for

A great magnet!
A great magnet!!I got this fishing magnet for my husband's birthday and he absolutely loves it. I think he was able to get a couple of items from the lake nearby our house. I was kind of skeptical at first with it being such a small size. You do have to be careful though especially around the kids. I don't let my kids go near it. When it attaches to a piece of metal, it's pretty hard to get the magnet off.

Just what he wanted!!
Bought this for my Dad. He loves using these to rake the bottom of the local lakes and rivers. He also walks around old buildings. He finds all types of different metal objects. Old antique square headed nails, old bottle caps, fishing hooks and so much more. Great Hobby to get into. These are super strong and very tough and durable. I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a fun hobby.

Caution will stick to metal
Very strong ! Be careful . I think it’s a good idea to have some one stronger then you at all times when using lol shipping was quick and easy . If I loose it I’ll buy it again !!

Good starter magnet
Bought this on a whim, it's worked great and I've been able to remove quite a bit of trash from my local waterways. Would buy again.
