I received two orchids as a gift. As a complete novice to orchid care I did a lot of research online to figure out how to take care of these plants. One important aspect was the type of pot the orchid was in. I purchased these pots to replant my orchids from the original store pots. These are great. they have plenty of holes for the roots to breath and for water drainage. Thee pots are light, but surprisingly sturdy. My only wish is that they came with the saucers, like in a set.

Nice orchid pots with plenty of drainage. I have not tried to use orchid clips yet, but the pots look sturdy enough if one is careful. I like the clear aspect of the pots, wonder how my plants will respond- I'll be able to visually inspect the roots through the pots, and if the plants generate chlorophil when the roots are turgid and green, than that would be a boost too. I don't know if that will work, but when you consider that most orchids are epiphites and grow with most of their roots exposed to the sun, it sounds like a good theory.

Those are semi clear orchid pots, just as good as any other. I like the design of these. Finish is good, no sharp edges. They are slightly opaque but it is easy to see through them to check the condition of roots. As for sturdiness, they are standard plastic pots so you can break them if you try, but they are not flimsy.Price is really good.One of the pots was damaged in shipping and the seller politely replaced it, no problems, so I feel I can recommend this seller.

These are a heavy duty transparent pot and work great for growing wheat grass for my indoor cats - the grass can even grow out of the ventilation holes on the sides of the pot - I can then just pull this entire plot of grass out of the pot and put it into a taller indoor planter for the cats to use - then I put dirt and seeds in this flower pot and start a new growth - works great, would highly recommend

This order arrived promptly and safely. The cups are very nice and I already transplanted my largest orchid. Although orchid plastic cups, with holes, are really pricey, I am happy to have real cups. I have used plastic solo cups and pierced them with a old soldering iron that worked well while the orchids were small. But my orchids now need larger cups. I only wish these cups had a stronger “ lip”. You will not be disappointed with these pots.

Relooking at the description of this product, i completely overlooked the fact that these orchid pots are 4" tall. I saw they were 5 1/2" wide and assumed the height would be comparable. Measuring from the inside of the pot, they're not 4 1/3" tall, but 4". In any case, I am very disappointed as my plants have good roots and need roughly 5-6" depth. The quality otherwise is perfectly fine, the depth is severely disappointing. Measure your plant before you make the mistake I made.

So far so good. The orchid is blooming and is very happy and its new pot.
