The metal tags worked well, and the cable connectors held tight without issue. As a precaution, I was able to use packing tape to attach the information for our travel insurance to the back of each tag. It was readable and protected by the tape, but I wish they had a model that was clear on both sides with a metal center plate so that I could have that information inside of the tag case. But that worked just fine.

I use these to tag my soft side tool bags with my contact info and ID what is in them since the bags look the same. I can print what I need on business card stock and use these to attach and protect the tag. They have stood up to the rugged need of tossing bags in and out of the back of my pickup and show no signs of not continuing to work out. Now going through an airport can be rough if you use these on luggage but the way I am using them is harsher than that. They will hold up as a luggage tag for sure IMO.

Lost one of the six at the airport the first time using them. The wire loop loosens while traveling which can be fixed by placing a bit of tape over the connection or making sure to retighten before checking in your luggage at the airport.I didn't want my contact info publicly exposed so I printed off my own design on thin(typical) printer paper and placed it over their contact info card. It was a tight fit putting it all together.Other luggage tags have free design templates to use...this brand doesn't. It was time-consuming to make my own design, but much cheaper than buying a set of officially licensed luggage tags.

I had a similar luggage tag in red and bought this set for new luggage. When I got home from my trip a silver one had come off the bag. The red one was still on a second bag. I doubt someone took it off since I was flying Business Class on an international flight and they barely touch a bag once checked and then give it priority all the way thru.

Some people have written that these things come unscrewed in transit. I've had no such trouble, and consider them to be sturdy and reliable. If you're worried, just put a dab of blue Locktite on the screws...but I don't really think you'll need it.

Great tags! Easy to see when picking up luggage at airport. You should make sure the fastener is tightened each time you plan to travel. I lost one because I didn’t check it but I like them so much o feted another one.

Air and cruise travel can be tough on luggage, so we're hoping these luggage tags prove as rugged as they seem they'll be. Construction looks good, connecting cable looks sturdy. And the color choices are a nice plus, making it easier to quickly ID one bag from another.

Bought these for a trip where I flew from three different airports and had 3 layovers as well, and they impressed me with how well they held up. Seem to be pretty durable.
