My cats love this food and it makes their coats shiny. But I would prefer it to be be grain-free.

I give my cats a mix of different dry cat food brands. They definitely have a preference for the ones with larger kibble and this one's chunkier than most of the expensive premium brands I've tried, so it's one of the staples of their diet now.I normally buy this at the neighborhood big box store but they were out last time I needed a bag, so I ordered from Amazon. The bag arrived looking pretty beat up, but not actually ripped open, so I decided it was OK to use. I think I will continue to buy locally when I can so I can inspect the bag in the store, make sure it's not about to expire, etc.

My cats were having problems with vomiting and allergic reactions with some of the cat food I was feeding them. One of them was even losing fur on her back from one of the cheaper brands! As they are getting older, these issues seem to be more prevalent. I wanted to try a quality cat food that maybe didn't enter the price bracket of the great but expensive specialty cat foods so I decided to try this brand. Almost immediately, I noticed that my cats weren't vomiting as much as they had been. In fact, they very rarely throw up now. The cat who was losing her fur has completely recovered and now her fur is full and soft. While this brand is a little bit more expensive than the brands I was feeding them, it's definitely worth it! All of them love the way it tastes, and I love that they are eating better quality food. While it does still have some of the "bad" ingredients in it, it is still superior to a lot of commercial cat food brands. I think it's definitely one of the best if you aren't ready to pay the price of the specialty brands of cat food. I would highly recommend it and will keep buying it!

While it has better ingredients than most cat foods, my cats seem to like junk better.

This is the only food we've ever fed our cats. They've been eating it for 3.5 years. I have never seen cats with silkier fur than our two have, and I think it's due to this food!Since we try to be aware of the ingredients we put into our bodies as a family, we also believe it's important to give our pets good food. So many pets today suffer from kidney and other health problems, which to me makes sense that it would have to be from their poor diets. We aren't having that with our cats-- hoping they live to be over 20 years old! This stuff covers all the bases for us!

I've been using this product for awhile with no issues but I've heard that some have been finding hard and sharp objects in their food. we broke up a significant portion of our food and found no pieces like that. i assume that there was just a bad batch. but i cannot risk my cats' health so i am switching.

My cats LOVE it....Which is amazing and relieving at the same time as they are VERY VERY VERY VERY picky about what they will eat. This product replaced their FAVORITE, PURINA ONE, which changed from Chicken and rice to chicken, turkey and rice....and my cats do NOT like Turkey...I wish companies would stop playing with great items....The chicken and rice product was usually sold out, so I would buy more than one bag. I hope his company doesn't mess with this formula and alsoo sells it in smaller bags, as it can get stale..and yep u guessed it..my cats won't eat it!!! But I LOVE my babies and I will get them what they need..They are the sweetest and deserve to eat what they like and what tastes good to them.

my feral cats like the canned cat food better (another brand), but they still eat this too.
