Not my first choice but works the same.
Works as it should. Easy to use, not bulky and big, connects with ease, and worth every penny. I use it with my FORscan app and reads out all data easily.

Works great on AlfaOBD and OBD Fusion!
This works very well on AlfaOBD. No issues at all when trying to read modules on my Jeep. I had a cheaper OBD2 dongle and it would constantly say "BUFFER FULL" when trying to read my ECM but the vLinker MS works perfectly. I'm happy with the price compared to the more expensive options people recommend for AlfaOBD.I also had no issues with OBD Fusion. I easily connected to both my Android tablet and iPhone.

This thing works great!
I've tried this with two different vehicles and two different phones and it works perfectly with both, For the price point, it's affordable enough to get pretty much any operator level maintenance done. I can not confirm the higher dealer/repair shop level features yet as as I haven't settled on a paid app to pair it with yet as there is a vast ocean of them and I need to research one that fits my my needs and wallet. It comes in decent packaging similar to that of a Samsung or Apple product, a nice sturdy feeling small cardboard box with nice foam inserts to keep the scanner safe and snug that has a strong magnetic flap that keeps the box closed well enough to stop yourself from fears of dropping it, so I can see myself keeping the box for as long as I keep the scanner. Unlike some of the competition that you would need to purchase an aftermarket storage/carrying case for.If I had one complaint, it's that even though it supports a ton of apps, I cant seem to find if it has it's own app or software in the included documentation. It does mention free firmware updates, but I wouldn't know where to even begin to look to do it. I do appreciate having options, but it would be nice if they had their own software as a baseline to pair the scanner to for various feature showcasing and basic code reading. Again, if they do have their own software, I have not found it. So Negative one star on that.Otherwise, it's a perfect product so far!

Easy to install. Works perfectly.
Controller works perfectly in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had to purchase the harness that allowed me to plug this into existing connector under the dash without any wiring modifications.

Effective tool
I’ve used this through multiple applications because it’s easily compatible with various OBD scanner applications. I’ve also used it with long codes. It’s very easy to use and more functional than other OBD interfaces I’ve used before.

A Useful Diagnostic Tool
(This review is for the Vgate vLinker MS Bluetooth OBD2 Car Scan Tool.)This scanner gives you an impressive array of data from your car's engine via the CAN bus. The features and user interface will vary depending on what phone app you use, but the plug-in dongle itself supports many different protocols. The dongle easily connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth, although I've noticed that it you switch the dongle from one car to another or switch phones, it can take a little longer to connect. In my car, I'm currently running with one tire that is lacking a TPMS (tire pressure) valvle stem. A quick scan with the vLinker identifies which tire it is.
