I haven't tried it on various locks but for a simple one it did work. I'm glad it's not too big. It's great that it's on a key chain so they don't get lost. They don't take too much room in your bag. They come in multiple shapes so if one doesn't work, the other is bound to work. I like having a bunch of different gadgets in my bags for worse case scenarios. I would rather be prepared than not. I am little concerned about the thickness. It looks like it could slightly bend or break if too much pressure is put on it when trying to unlock something too difficult. Overall, I think it's a must have in a bag. It definitely works on small locks. And if you accidentally forgot to get your key or lost it, it will definitely unlock it.

Work GREAT. Easy to use. Priced reasonablely

These are much wider and thicker than I imagined. It is hard to see them very useful as they barely fit into locks. Especially the smaller wafer lock I was working on.So I modified one, ground it down to just a thin hook (top pick in the picture). With it I was able to pick the lock on this little bubblegum machine I inherited.So they work, they are a bit too large, a bit sharp on the edges of the "handle" but they work and have given me what I need. For the cheap price, they are worth it, especially if you are willing to modify them a bit if needed.
