LiteBITE Mouthguard

Excellent mouth guard! This has been our go to mouth guard for my daughter for the past few years. We've tried all the others and they were hard to fit on a young child or were very bulky and uncomfortable. We just tried the SISU and threw it away. It was such a pain to try and fit. My daughter is 10 and uses her mouthguard for basketball. This has been easy to fit and very comfortable for her to wear. She can even speak with it in her mouth. The trick we found is to not wait too long after you remove it from the boiling water. We were waiting too long because I was worried it would burn her mouth and we couldn't get the fit right. After we watched the fitting video, we realized we needed to get it into her mouth almost immediately. She said it was hot but didn't burn. Just be careful and use your fingers to test how hot it is before inserting. We plan on sticking with LiteBITE forever. No more experimenting for us.

Most mouth guards do not work with dental work and bought these for my son who had some spacers inserted into his mouth. In fact, encouraged my friend to do so for his 10 year old as well as both boys play basketball. They didn't quite work that well with both boys spacers in their mouth...so it may or may not work with all dental work. This is no fault to Lite Bite as they worked extremely well after the spacers were out!!!However, the supplier of these is simply fantastic to work with and that is why I am changing my rating to a 4 star. Simply put, it may not have worked for us, but I would consider trying them again in the future as the boys grow out of their dental work. Hats off to Jimmie from LiteBite for reaching out to us directly and provide an outstanding level of service and support!

This is my fourth brand of mouthguards, trying to find a set that (1) fits well, (2) isn't too bulky in the mouth and (3) allows him to talk while wearing. The mouthguard came with detailed instructions for fitting, which we followed faithfully and ended up with a very well fitting mouthguard first try. We have had a dentist fitted mouthguard before (which was really good but expensive!) and my son says this one feels as good if not better.

Easy fit process and whenever i use it when I play, i forget that it's there. Great for people like me who always bites my lip when i create contact with an elbow or something.

These are nothing like the custom fitted athletic mouthguards fitted at the dentist office. Little more than a cut down regular heat and suck mouthpiece. Almost impossible to get that custom close fit. Cant talk or drink with it.

With the video instructions, the process is very easy to understand. it may take a try to really to get a hang of it. But it fits nicely and comfortably in my mouth after two tries. The material and quality is very good and it very close to what the pros are wearing. planning to get another as backup.

Not what I was hoping for

I’m grateful for this. It helps keep my teeth from wearing and is not bulky so I can sleep with my mouth closed. I wasn’t able to sleep with my other bulky ones. Have been using these lite bites for years now. Hope they continue to make them.
