Golf 2021 Epic Speed Driver

I had been reading and watching several articles on using a more flexible golf shaft. I went looking for a slightly higher lofted and flexible driver to test 2 theories (more loft and more flex). I came across the Epic Speed 12* with Senior shaft. I also ordered a wrench to go with it so I could adjust it. I swapped it to 11* draw bias and headed to the range. Immediately I was in love the driver and it felt like butter. I was hitting a nice mid flight draw with a good amount of roll. All for $99 and in great condition as I purchased it from Callaway Pre-owned. As I ended my range session I put an impact sticker on it and gave one final swing for the day. Attached is the result of that swing...Dead solid perfect.

First the seller was great, product was exactly as described and the headcover and tool for adjustment was included. Shipping was fast and the packaging was top notch. As far as the Driver goes: This was the first club I ever bought online without demoing it in a store or at a driving ranges. That said, I've been playing Calloway Drivers for years starting with the "Bobby Jones" models some 25 years ago. The good thing was there were excellent YouTube reviews and discussions about this particular model. Having the knowledge about how Calloway Drivers perform, I took a leap of faith and also knew that I could return this if I didn't like it. I always liked a low (9 deg) lofted club. I like the trajectory and also on the right lie, I can hit is off the deck if the risk is worth the reward. The sound of the driver is wonderful to the ears; not too metallic and not to muted as it provides great sensory feedback. The feel of the club is great; firm yet soft again for great feedback to know where on the club face your hitting it. Distance-wise a marked improvement in comparison to the 460 Tour X 9 deg I previously played since 2006. Of course technology has changed and improved and the AI Speed-frame delivers on that in a big way. As far as the adjustable hosel, I have it set in it's stated lie and neutral loft and at this point the dispersion and distance is most excellent. The other nice thing as this driver is "last years" model the price was phenomenal compared to the 2022 models. I also researched to see what "real" difference between the Epic Speed is vs the Rogue.....While I didn't directly teat one vs the other, from what I read, this difference is in distinction which for me seemed small; especially since the Epic Speed was a technological upgrade from a 16 year old driver. In short, I would most recommend this club and at least giving it a look when in the market for a new driver whether its a titleist, ping or others. Hope this helps, and, keep in the short grass.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Only way to get good drivers on a budget is this way. Best club in my bag and performs awesomely. Looked like a brand new club when it arrived.

I used to have a prominent slice because my old driver had a very flexible shaft. This club has helped me a ton with reducing the slice.
