Dupe Accessories Quick Release Camera Neck Strap w/Lens Cap Leash, Safety Tether and Tripod Compatible

I bought this strap as a replacement for one I've lost. I like this strap for the most part, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. The reason is that I'm an old retired competitive powerlifter, so my shoulders and chest are pretty broad. This strap is really short. I have it extended out as long as it will go and it's really nothing more than a neck strap to me. I was looking for a longer shoulder strap. If you need something shorter or you're a smaller build than get this strap. If you're bigger and looking for a shoulder strap than this one may not be for you.

I have not used my Dupe camera strap yet. Since I have not yet attached my Canon 7D to the strap, I did not give it a 5 star rating in all the categories. When I got my strap, one day before I go on vacation, I found it was not assembled properly. So I took it apart and tried to reassemble. It was like a puzzle. Went on line and after a time consuming search found an unboxing video which helped me to put the strap together.I sent Dupe and email but did not receive a reply until I had already found the video and assembled the strap. Discussed the video with Dupe in hopes they will correct it.I will warn you that the video is taken in low light so you will have to run it back MANY times if you want the strap put together properly.MyDupe customer services was responsive and wanted to help out. That was a plus.I would recommend the strap. Seems good for the cost.

After having an expensive camera strap fail which could have damaged my camera and lens, I decided to look for something sturdier and more reliable. For Fathers' Day I got the Dupe camera strap that I had put on my wish list. I was so impressed with the quality and security of the system as well as the price that I bought a second one for my backup DSLR. I highly recommend this camera strap.

The shoulder strap is extremely comfortable and holds up well in all conditions for me. Very easy to use the thumb screw in the tripod holder for this strap. Strap is made of a very heavy duty and high quality nylon and the shoulder pad has a nice litter zipper pocket to hold camera batteries or sdcards. This makes it extremely easy to swap out batteries or loaded cards on the fly without stopping to dig them out of a bag or backpack. Because of the extremely durable quality of construction and comfort, the strap does not breathe well. If I had to weigh the priority of the strap securing my $5,000 camera against a little shoulder sweat, I'll take the camera security any day. I'd highly recommend this dslr camera shoulder strap to anyone.The dupe shoulder strap is just as high quality and comfortable as the BkackRapid brand of accessories, but comes in at 1/3-1/2 the price! I'll be buying dupe from now on!

Well made and sturdy camera sling. I find it very comfortable. I wish it adjusted a little bit more. I am 6'ft 240 so fully adjusted my camera hangs just above my hip but for most people I think it will be fine. Overall very happy with purchase.

Nice strap for a good price. I really like the mounting plate which has a larger surface area where it meets the camera & will take a lot of torque off the threaded part. I like the plate so much I ordered another one so I can leave one on each of my Nikons & just swap the strap back & forth.The only problem I had was rethreading the strap through the clips but after about an hour I think I got it right. It's tough because there is an extra clip that doesn't show in the instructions & I still am not sure what it's for.Customer service is fantastic because I asked about getting the extra mounting plate & they responded & arranged for it to come to me for a very reasonable price immediately.Aug 1/18Wow, I got the extra plate today, what service!

Super comfortable. It's my new favorite strap,Comfortable with a 5d and a long lens for a 16 hour day of shooting. It gets my blessing. -NM

This is a very good value and the product seems OK. The only gripe i have is that I had to take it apart and reset up the straps in order to make it safe for the camera. There was an instructional insert that described what to do so the seller or manufacturer knew. It took me about 20 minutes to do (i am slow and dont do ropes and straps well). it would have been nice if it could be set up and ready out of the box. However, it is possible that all straps sold have the same requirement.
