Yes, this gets freakishly hot, as people have bitched about, however it didn't damage my hair, or the other girl's hair that I used it on, who has very fragile, thin hair. this is literally the best curling wand I have ever used in my life. I wasn't sure how to use a wand correctly, so I had to look up a tutorial, cause I was used to using curling irons, however this thing works like a dream, and only takes a few seconds to make a lovely curl. It has a cool color, I got the purple. it cools down fast, and it heats up very fast. DONT CHECK IF ITS HOT, IT IS. I do agree with other customers, that I wish it had a stand, so that we could put it down to cool off, but I just put it inside my bathroom sink, or tub until it cools down, after I unplug it, but this is absolutely beautiful, and has done wonders for my hair. I'm very, very pleased with it, and the pros heavily outweigh the cons, and I am a very picky virgo, so trust my opinion. Haha.

It Came quickly & It's really cute . It also curls well .. However one thing: there's no temperature control ! It stays on 400 degrees . This thing will really damage your hair if your not careful . I wish I would've noticed that before buying . But you get what you pay for .

Amazing, love the curls it gives me. It does gets really hot but it gives you amazing curls. My go to curling iron. Easy to use. I recommend this.

I'm asian and everyone knows we got nice straight hair but it's hard to keep the hair curly and I'm so bad at the other hair curling irons..especially the tip always looks awkward and bent. This is definitely it for me and it gets hot hot hot in like 40 seconds so careful~

No heat settings just on/off. And it gets WAY TOO HOT. Even with thermal protection my hair was steaming the second i used it. Says it heats up to 400 degrees F, and that’s way too hot. It definitely curls well, but it’s gonna burn all my hair off if I use it. Wish they’d have made a product that has something as basic as a heat setting.

I have naturally curly hair, and on the day I shower, it looks perfect. Then when I wake up the next day, I have the dreaded bedhead- flat on one side, puffy on the other, curls sticking up everywhere, etc. Even when I try to fix the curls by re-wetting them and putting in more cream or oil, it still looks kind of bad.I saw this curling iron being used on a popular fashion YouTube channel by a girl with curly hair, and I knew I had to have one to help me with my issues. AND IT'S PERFECT! I just work on the spots that need it and comb my fingers through to blend them in. Sometimes I use it for all my hair, and it looks like my natural hair except better styled. I simply adore this curling iron and I recommend it to everyone who's interested in purchasing. You will -not- be disappointed.The only reason I don't put 5 stars down, however, is that I've given myself a couple small burns since using it; WEAR THE GLOVE IT COMES WITH! Please! Even if you think you don't need it, you do. Trust me. Also, if you have shoulder-length hair or longer, wear a long-sleeved shirt, robe, or jacket while styling your hair; I gave myself a burn on my upper arm while wearing short sleeves.All in all, I'm completely satisfied by my purchase and have been telling everyone about it!

I love this curling iron and use it everyday. My daughter and I both have long hair and this curling iron makes beautiful curls. It has a nice long cord and comes in a pretty color. It also comes with a glove so you don't burn yourself. I personally do not use the glove anymore because I have been using this type of curling iron for so long that I have become a pro at it. The curls last in your hair all day long as long as you spray your hair with hairspray after making the curls. The humidity in the air tends to make my curls fall out if I do not use hair spray. When I lived up north where the weather was colder I did not have to use hair spray so it all depends on where you live. This is the only type of curling iron I will ever buy.

This curl wand is AMAZING! Just what I was looking for size wise. And the shipping!!! Received it the very next day! Well worth the money. Heats up very quickly and when I curl, The curl has set after only a few seconds. Curls have lasted for 4 days before I washed. Yes yes yes!I am a retired hairstylist and this iron is just as great as anything I used while working.I have very fine, very straight hair but this gives me super tight curls in 10 minutes. They do loosen up slightly as the day goes on but not terribly. I generally like to give them a brush because I prefer a fluffier look, but it’s not pictured here.Some things I’ve noticed: it doesn’t have a stand but for the price point in doesn’t matter. Hair does stick a little when pulling the wand out of the coil but hasn’t been a major issue yet. The wand does get super hot which is great for me. It does come with a glove which I haven’t used. There is no heat protective tip which I also prefer but people should be cautious of while learning how to use it.Yay!! So excited!

Great product, curls well and is super hot. I have no problem with the heat but it would have been nice is the protective glove was smaller. It is hard to style with petite hands

I really like the wand, it warms up really fast has that heat protectant glove as well. Only thing is that it is only one heat setting so it might be too hot to use on thinner hair but I have a medium to coarse hair and it works great for me. but for such an inexpensive wand I would definitely recommend this

Love it! Was exactly what I was looking for. I have curly hair so i use this curling iron on day 2 or 3 when my hair starts to get a lil frizzy and it looks super natural. It does get really hot fast so make sure to use with care.
