Raw COC!
I first got drawn to Corrosion of Conformity back in the 90s when I heard Albatross. So being a bit of a completest nerd I went out and found as much of their music as I could, including a 90s re-issue of this Eye for and Eye cd. This new version certainly has a slightly better sound and is worth getting as the booklet is very nice with pictures of the band and old gig flyers etc. Don't expect the band to sound like their 90s version as what you get here is ramshackle and raw performances. Hate to use the term 'hardcore' but it sums this release up pretty well. I like it just as much as the 'newer' COC but I'm a big fan of the band and like everything they have ever done. Great band!

Outstanding beginning, finally re-released for all to enjoy!
Back to the source! A brilliant start to one of the greatest cult bands in the history of hard rock music. So many facets to what they do and now the missing link has finally been restored for all to enjoy. Keep an open mind though, because if you are not familiar with COC's history and are only familiar with their later '90+ output, it will be a bit of a shocker. Proper Hardcore in every sense of the word.

I still have this cassette tape in my collection and ...
I still have this cassette tape in my collection and I was overwhelmed when I saw it was out on disc. Listening to this takes me back to the days of sitting in the basement listening to D.R.I., Ministry, Nine Inch Nails and this album. A definitive must for the old school fans.

F23King brilliant record it's so intense to me this record sounds like the first Grindcore album ever made it's got churchy guitars fast drum beats doomey sounding bass and low growling vocals all the characteristics of a Grindcore record stuff there later work this album and Animosity are there best recordings ever they shouldn't of changed there style they should of made more of these kind of albums

Not What I Thought!
Not real sure what I was expecting here. I thought I was getting the COC from Blind on. Not so. IT is not terrible, but I was certainly dissappointed.

Too punk
Too punk for my taste. Just like the other early COC albuns this sounds like punk instead of metal.
