Tillandsia Adhesive - Nutritional Air-Plant/Tillandsia & Moss Adhesive (1, 50g) Tillandsia Accessories

At first I wrote a negative opinion on this, I felt it would be best to change that. If you need a plant attached to something or flower arrangement for example.It works better than the plant / aquarium glue I've been using. This works for my purposes, of creating rock gardens where I affix small rooted plants to rocks and drift wood!?

This didn’t stick to any craft item including resin designs OR the air plant themselves. When I misted the plants after allowing it to dry for 2 days it started to desolve. Now I have 68 air plants purchased specifically to create a large miniature forest and I can’t get any of them to stick to their base. Different materials for bases and a variety of air plants and I can’t get anything to stick to anything.

This is a very interesting product. Once it is mixed with water it stays soft for a quite a while after. I had my doubts that it was even adhesive. I make large driftwood displays with Tillandsias and gave this stuff a shot. You need to use some means of keeping your plants positioned correctly(I used strips of painters tape) as the adhesive sets up. I was able to attach 3-6 plants at a time and pack the adhesive around the base of each plant. By the next day the adhesive was hard as a rock(literally). Its been over 6 months and the adhesive is holding up well(although it has browned in color a bit).As the plants grow they tend to shed the older foliage at the base and loosen up a little. Just add a little more adhesive or a dab of some other plant safe glue to keep it secure. My displays dont seem to be growing any faster or bigger with the use of the adhesive, but they are all still very healthy. I bought 2 packs of the adhesive and I'm still on the first one. This product is expensive for what it is because it comes from a island nation so don't complain about price. It took a month to deliver because customs had to open a pack to inspect for illegal drugs etc. and clear it. Have you seen anything like this in the U.S? No? Thats why I got it and I'm happy with it so far.

Simply put... it works as advertised. Great product for a great price. Will purchase again!
