Quantum Sorcery Paperback – 7 July 2009

I must admit that I was extremely sceptical about such a small volume having anything pertinent to say about links between quantum mechanics and sorcery. Having come across it by chance, I expected over-simplifications couched in pompous new age speak which is so common in such works. What a pleasant surprise to be proven totally wrong! Dave Smith has an unsurpassed talent to express complex matters very concisely without any loss of substance and meaning. I have a scientific background, and though not a physicist, I have read a fair bit about quantum physics to judge that this is spot on.Regarding sorcery, I have had dealings with Life Alignment Spiritual Healing, Reiki and Homeopathy (in case someone is wondering what Homeopathy has got to do with magic, its principles and mechanisms cannot be explained by any "classical" Chemistry and Pharmacology, because the ("ritual") repetitive preparation and dilution of a substance is as important as the choice of substance itself.) Anyway, for some time I had already been thinking about how quantum events might explain some of the "inexplicables", and finally here is a book that provided many answers and throughout prompted me to think beyond my past understanding.

I found this book to be a fascinating read, I enjoy the scientific anecdotes that give substance to the more ethereal concepts. A good foundation for exploration of the deep inner truths of the nature of reality.Note to the author: I think there may be an omission or error on page 61 🌺(I recommend Metamorphosis: Pathway to Personal Transformation by Audrey Simpson-Campbell as a good companion to this book.)

I am currently reading this book now and I just had to write a review saying how great it is. Very well written, the information given about sorcery and quantum mechanics and how they coincide is laid out in a very comprehensible manner. I praise the author for such great work. It has definitely taught me much about how sorcery is put into effect. If you are interested in chaos magic and quantum mechanics then have a read. You will not be disappointed.
