Rustic MAKA Natural Deodorant, Calming Fields (Lavender + Mint), Baking Soda-Free, Magnesium, Continuous Odor Control

I have been wearing Rustic Maka for a long time now...I love their natural deodorants. The only thing is that I decided to try for the first time the Calming Fields Baking Soda free scent, and I regret it cause it is giving me boils under my underarms, and it hurts so bad! I must be having a bad reaction to the Lavender and mint. Mind you, I've been wearing natural deodorant for 4 years now. This doesn't happen when I wear the activated charcoal magnesium Luna Bliss baking soda free scent. I'm going back to using that, cause I never had problems with it. I will not purchase or wear the Calming Fields ever again....I'm in pain!

I REALLY wanted to like this deodorant and while I am still using it because it 1) smells great 2) is non-toxic and 3) it is affordable, it was VERY disappointing when it turned the armpits of my light colored ( white, grey, blue) shirts YELLOW. Despite scrubbing them with OxyClean and leaving them soaking overnight in Oxyclean I was not able to get the yellow out and had to toss those shirts out. In terms of longevity it does last all day with the exception of those really hot and sticky days, but I feel that all deodorants have that issue.I have sensitive skin and this has been great, so I am still wearing it with dark shirts and clothing however due to the shirts I had to toss because of the yellow pits I will probably move on to another option once the stick I have runs out.

The consistency of this deodorant is fairly thick so I would recommend 1 to 2 swipes max for each application. The scent was actually pretty nice.. almost minty/charcoal with a hint of lavender. However, I noticed I would have to reapply after 4-5 hours to maintain the freshness. Otherwise, I would be left smelling not so fresh but not awful. My biggest complaint is that this deodorant started staining my clothes and also left build up on some of my shirts that would not come out, even after several washes.

This is my third or fourth time ordering this deodorant and I absolutely love it. All the scents are amazing and even though I live in Texas I don’t get stinky. It doesn’t break out or bother my sensitive skin. The best!

I love this deodorant - the scent is lovely and the ingredients are great but mine came broken. I was only able to use it a few times before I needed to turn the knob to get more product and that part doesn’t work on my deodorant. Not pleased at all that I won’t be able to use it anymore.

These are the best deodorants ever! My 15 year old daughter and I both use this brand and we're so happy with them! I've tried probably close to 30 deodorants in the last 4-5 years and this is the only one that works all day with rarely having to reapply, plus it doesn't give me a rash because it's baking soda free. It keeps me dry and smell free plus this particular one is scented with only essential oils. The only downfall for me is the price but I've paid over $20 for a deodorant in hopes that it would be the one to work so this price isn't so bad. I'd love to see the price closer to $10 since I want to buy these for everyone in the house. We have 4 people in the house that need deodorant and we can't afford to buy everyone this brand. Luckily my husband and son can use more affordable brands and they work for them.So for me to make this the holy grail deodorant I would love to see this closer to $10 and housed in cardboard pushup tubes since I'm trying to go plastic free. But other than that this is a great deodorant and honestly a great company! I love supporting small businesses and especially ones that are owned my women.

A few years ago I switched my personal care items to include natural ingredients. I must have tried 12 deodorants before I found this one. This one works, smells great and does not include any harmful ingredients. I have purchased this many times and will continue to use it. I love the sweet lemonade scent as well at the lavender.
