I was impressed with the camera's touted specifications of up to 48 megapixel photos, with up to 8x optical zoom. The camera mixes some of the better features of digital photography, with the camera's size, and singular purpose, advantage, (in being a camera, solely), of analog photography, being that the camera is capable of offering optical zoom, which is better than digital zoom, in terms of construction and photo outcome, since there's room, in the construction of the lens, as well as it's size, and singular purpose, for telescoping to be offered - it's generally different from what we get on our smartphone and tablet camera's. The camera has sharp photo quality, and it's generally very good - the quality of the photos is good, although there is no camera shake adaption, for the photos - the user has to make sure that the camera isn't shaken, or jarred, when taking the photo. There's some lacking quality in the camera's light environment capabilities, but I felt that that aspect is perhaps a marginal concern, being that lighting equipment is available, and cheap, as well. I'm very pleased with this product.

this camera is easy to use and great for kids. the camera quality is terrible, but i do not think kids mind that. I'm impressed with all of the games on it as well.

I wouldn't buy this for a kid. At this point the phones that children use would be more advanced than this camera. The photo quality is terrible. You can only snap. It's like have an old school camera that you can plug up with a USB for kids. I wouldn't recommend. My nephew was not excited about it. He didn't use it on our trip to DC. He took pics with his cell phone. He is 11.

I liked that this digital camera does not look like a kid's camera. It has a clean, black, retro look. It does have some sticker and game options on it. There is a ring light type flash on the front that my daughter enjoyed. This is great for when she doesn't want to carry around an expensive cell phone but still wants to take pictures.It comes with a charging cable, a wrist lanyard, a memory card, and an instruction manual.

Excellent camera for tweens – compact camera, 8x zoom, 44MP, 1080p video along with filters, cartoons and even built in games. I gave this camera to my 12 year old niece for her birthday and it’s been in her hand ever since. It’s perfect for the young age group that doesn’t have cell phones yet with a built in camera on them all the time. A 32gb sd card is also included – store a TON of photos & videos! Easy to use and instructions are included.
