This IDIS CD collects three wonderful and sensational recordings that only them could show to the audience Gulli incredible talent and artistical greatness. First Ravel Tzigane live recorded in 1965 in Trieste, his hometown, with the Orchestra of the Verdi Theatre conducted by a very young Claudio Abbado, then a unique performance of Lalo Symphonie Espagnole with Rai Symphony Orchestra of Torino realized in 1957,and in the end an poetical and intimate Frack Sonata in A Major recorded in studio about in 1965 with his wife Enrica Cavallo, a more than unique demonstration of the art of the Maestro. Inside the CD booklet there is a short essay The Master of Violin written by the authoritative musicologist Alberto Cantù that can explain deeply the art of this incredible artist.
