2009 album from the veteran Heavy Metal band, released to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of their original debut album. Danger Danger were formed in 1987 by Bruno Ravel (bass) and Steve West (drums) and rounded out by Ted Poley (vocals) Andy Timmons (guitar) and Kasey Smith (keyboards). Over the years, band members have come and gone, but Evolve features the stellar vocals of Poley, who returned to the fold in 2004 after an 11 year absence.

if u loved their first 2 albums THIS IS A MUST!!! they NAILED it with this album!! MELODY AND HOOKS stuck in your head!
wow! so i LOVE the first DD album, probably my favorite....the second album Screw It was pretty damn good too, i really liked it but i just think that it had a few too many 'filler' tracks on it, just my opinion though. Not a bad song or 'filler' to be found here thats for sure!!!! this is an incredibly solid contemporary rock album.musically you can tell its a little more mature and relevant but they NEVER loose track of their 'classic' sound. If your a DD fan or only had their 1st album and liked it, i gaurantee you will love REVOLVE, if you done then there is something wrong with you!! i first saw DD almost 2yrs ago at the M3 Rock Festival in MD. they were the first band on that day on the main stage, they blew me away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sounded amazing, looked great, and played flawless!! they without a doubt set the bar pretty high for the following acts that day/night. Rob Marcello killed it on guitar and the whole bands energy really came through!!!a few months back they played a small club in RI close to where i live. again, nothing but a kick-ass amazing show!!!they played a few songs from Revolvewhich i werent familiar with not having the album yet, i knew as soon as i got home that night i would be ordering Revolve without hesitation! i dont know why i waited so long to pick this up!! i love it love it love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the songs are strong, well structured, very melodic, amazing production too...the bass is deep and silky, everything about the mix is spot on and sounds amazing on a good stereo system/speakers!TRACK #1 GREAT opening song, really sets the tone for the rest of the songs that folllow...new and mondern but still the DD sound i always loved!TRACK #2 tempo picks up slighty, rob's guitar shredding opens the song, bass/drums flowing and ted sounding great, a melodic rollercoaster ride, makes you wanna re-play the track when its over!TRACk #3 oh boy, make sure your volume is cranked for this slow/mid-tempo heavyish ballad of sorts, the chorus will suck you right in!!!!!! may be my favorite song on here and i love EVERY song!! i blasted this track over and over in my car, sounded soooo good!!! this was one of the 3 tracks from this album they played live which i heard for the first time that night, what a rocking song!!!! coudlnt get it outta my head for days!!!TRACK #4 ahhh, classic DD with this track, love it!!!!!!! played this live and the crowd LOVED it!TRACK #5 a pretty down-temp acoustic ballad, the girls like this one lolTRACK #6 catchy, riffy classic DD feel good song!!TRACK #7 wow! this song has a very modern sound to it, should have been a radio single, great rockin mid-tempo song!TRACK #8 jamazing song, album just keeps getting better and better....they played this live and it just blew my away!!!!!!!!!!!!!TRACK #9 all i can say is yet another great song, well written, catchy, melodic and memorable! one of the many songs on this album that should have gotten some radio play!!!TRACK #10 a classic Ted Poley ballad and great song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TRACK #11 last song to take you out, great song to end the album with, reminds me of something from Screw It!all in all an AMAZING album imo, not a bad song on here!!! its been a while since anyone has put out a good, solid rock album beginning to end, these boys did it with REVOLVE!! i feel as though its much Under-rated, there's def. a few really standout tracks that should have gotten some radio play! every musician in this band is killer!!!!!! see them live if you get the chance!!!!

Far better than their first two albums
I was hestitant to buy this album because I`m not really a huge fan of their S/T and "Screw It" albums, I always thought they were kinda weak compaired to other albums of the time. However my interest in this record was triggered by the fact that they got Robert Marcello on guitar, the same guy that was responsible for one of 2008`s greatest releases together with Frank Vestry Marcello Vestry a truly amazing album and probably a future cult classic of the genre that proved that Robert can shred with the best of them. That and the fact that they got their original singer, Ted Poley, back in the lineup made me curious (even though he did sing on the aforementioned albums). So I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and now that I`ve listened to this album over and over I find that it keeps surprising me, I still discover a lot of songs that grow on me after I`ve played them again and again. And after all, isn`t that the best kind of album? The one where you uncover gems after listening to it time after time? When I first heard this album I thought there were only two or three memorable songs but now I know there`s a lot more. Still there are some of these songs that i don`t find as good as the others like "Beatiful Regret" and "Fugitive".However that`s not to say that these songs are not good, they`re just not AS good as the rest of these songs.Needless to say that all these songs are performed extremely well in every aspect from the great vocals to the neat guitars, the rocksolid foundation built by the bass and drums and the hum-friendly keyboard lines.Keep on keeping on:)Cause this release is really THAT good.

Ted is talking about being back getting loud
Ted Poley is back with the band. They sound more like classic early Danger Danger which is more like Trixter while middle Danger Danger reminds me more of earlier Warrant. I don't mind either directions. This has some really catchy songs which probably blew the audience away live. The band even foresaw the future a bit. I won't spoil it for you. A must listen to if you like Ted Poley's unique voice and a great band. One of the songs mentions being predictable but I didn't think the album was at all just a lot of fun.

I've been waiting for this for a long time!
I've been a huge Danger Danger fan ever since I found a used copy of their debut album thirteen or so years ago. I've worn out ever album since then, including the awesome "Live and Nude" album. So I was very excited when I found out D2 would be recording another album and would be recording it with Ted Poley on vocals. Well, I believe I hyped it up to much in my mind that after my first complete listen... I was a little disappointed. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was expecting either. I'm glad to say I gave it a few more listens since then and it keeps getting better and better. Yet another great D2 album. It's great to hear Poley again (even though I loved the D2 albums with Laine) and Marcello's guitar work is exceptional. If you are a fan of Danger Danger, please do yourself a favor and pick this one up. It did take me a few listens to get into it, but once I did, I was hooked. This one ranks right up there with the first album, Screw It, Four the Hard Way, and The Return of the Great Gildersleeves.Thank you Danger Danger.

Wow, surprising good, can easily be the best cd of '09
Wow, surprising good, I absolutely love this cd. It's different than their first 2 albums, but in very good way. This album can easily be mistaken for Def Leppard (perhaps a follow-up to 'Adrenalize' album or something), but make no mistake, this is definitely DD sound. There are plenty of great song writing here and powerful ballads. Tones like "Killin' Love", "Never Give Up" and "Fugitive" are some my favorite ballads. Also, great catchy tones like "Keep On Keepin' On", "Heart on the highway" and "That's what I'm talking about" make this album complete. I haven't give a 5-stars review on Amazon for quite sometime, but this is certainly deserve it. I highly recommend it.

Beau retour
A great slice of American cheese.
Leaving no rock cliche unturned the D2 boys are back with an album that really deserves far more attention than it will ever get. This really is a stunning album that just grows and grows on you with each listen. There are literally no poor songs on the album. I really wish more people would give this a chance. It is the quintessential pop/rock album that pretty much everyone could appreciate with great hooks and singalong choruses - the D2 trademark.Favourite tracks? Have to be Killing love and Ghost of love.

Poser-Rock vom feinsten!!!
...was soll ich sagen...? Welcome back, Ted! Ich hoffe, die "Jungs" von DD kommen bald nach Deutschland auf Tour. Ich werde dort sein!!!Meine Lieblingstracks: "Killing Love" und "Keep on keepinŽon".
