yup it is a Bobby whistle
Nice whistle, well built and simple and yes every time you use it brings back memories of being in London. The tone is not piercing nor unpleasant but will carry a good distance.Whistle is simple in construction so it should continue to work for a long time, has held up well with a lot of use, but the plating material is coming off after several months of use. Not flaking but simply wearing through. Whistle still works and should continue to work but it looks well worn..

Used to train my 2 labradoodles!
What I like about my new whistles - are the looks of them, the sound......and the fact you can hang on your neck or by the back door. My Bella & Bradley are quite large (standard) and have large "barks" which is not pleasant for my neighbors. When I put them in my yard they behave good until they start barking. One day I blew the whistle - and it was like magic -they came running and in the house! Don't ask me how they knew - but it has been a wonderful tool, and is used every day. good whistle
I needed a unique whistle to differentiate from many others at a public school and this was a great solution. Arrived quickly with added bonus of lanyards and was welcomely received by preschool teacher.
