I hadn't seen personal alarm key chains and I thought that I would test them out. My work has a very strict policy about anything resembling a self-defense weapon on a keychain and so this, is allowed under that policy. This two pack was very easy to open. They come on a keychain and I was surprised that it came with a built in flashlight. The flashlight isn't the brightest, but it comes in handy when you drop something in your vehicle. You activate the alarm by pulling the cord. It is a very loud alarm and to stop the alarm, you just put the pin back in the alarm. These personal safety alarms are good to have
These personal safety alarms are good to have. I like the fact that they come as a two pack because you can give the other one to someone. They come attached to a ring, that it easy to slide on a key ring. I ordered quite a few of these, and these gold ones are by far the loudest of the ones that I have received. All you have to do is pull out the pin, and a blaring nose will draw people's attention your way. They also come with a minu flashlight which could also come in handy.

This will scare the crap out of anyone!
Loud! I mean LOUD! I accidentally set the alarm off before I was ready and my cat jumped 5 feet straight up in the air! LOL! Would recommend the alarm. There is a small push-pull button on the side of the alarm. When that button is pulled, you receive an ear-piercing scream! I feel certain a criminal would stop his attack simply to cover his own ears. Seriously, I would recommend the product and I received two alarms for this price.

Sent to be with daughter and roomies on campus late at night. Sure, we tell them to scream and run away but in reality… If you pull this plug and have to endure the noise and attention it brings… It will do it’s job and make unwanted people or attackers run away. It’s all about keeping your girls (boys too!) safe and this is easy to use as it states and works like a charm!! Can also be taking on airplane where pepper spray cannot…

A useless device!!
Well, I was impressed by the reviews but it is a very impractical device. The alarm starting button is a cord which comes off very easily causing a huge panick. I mean if u are just holding ur keys and walking or carrying groceries, with a little pressure it automatically falls off. If you loose it there is no way u could turn off the alarm. I will Not recommend this silly item ..

You May Need to Replace Batteries....
It's nice color a, and good keyring holder, the batteries were already dead when product was received, which, was inconvenience.
