This cut-resistant witches glove is a comfortable quality product in my opinion.
I have tried at least two dozen or more butchers gloves. All of them have been a level five extra largeThis particular set of gloves is far above any of the other gloves that I have tried. Other gloves make the same claims as these gloves but do not stand up to the scrutiny of actual use and close examination. Some of the gloves actually have the thumb of the glove on the center of the side of the glove meaning that you can wear it as a left or right side glove.in my opinion that's one of the first clues that there is not a quality product in a glove such as that. Other gloves do not have the density of the weaving itself of these gloves. the thickness, closeness of the weave, hand pattern sewn into the glove where they thumb is either on the left or right side of the glove, the pattern of each finger which is cut wider so that glove can curve in cover each finger instead of just being a flat cut that lays flat when taking off including the cut and sewing for the fingertips that keep their fingertips and fingers in the glove in the proper shape of a finger even when it love is removed and laid on a flat surface. I am also warn all of the gloves including this glove while putting a knife-edge to the gloves. Even though all of the gloves are a level 5 none compares to the protection of this particular gloves. Many of the other gloves were three to six times more expensive in this particular pair of gloves without having the quality and protection of this glove. This is the manufacturer and model of cut-resistant butchers gloves that I would definitely recommend for quality, proper fit, comfortability and protection. Sorry Bandaid!
I have been cutting myself with knives since I was a kid. It is just something that happens when you use knives a lot! Well I started doing more whittling lately and saw these on Amazon. I didn't ever think about anything like this before as I am not a chef or someone who uses sharp steel for a living. I just use pocket knives a lot. Well I decided $10 was cheaper than all the bandaid and Neosporin I go through and gave it a shot. When they arrived at my home I put them on and gave them a test. I keep my knives very sharp. I find sharpening knives on an Arkansas Whetstone and leather strop to be therapeutic. Well I gently ran my thumb along the edge of my German steel whittling knife and nothing happened. It didn't leave a mark on the glove. I applied more pressure and still no mark. I didn't use all my strength but I made slices against my palm with a very sharp, high quality, German steel whittling knife and it didn't leave a mark!I don't recommend trying this yourself. It might not work and you end up getting stitches. I will say that these gloves will stop all nicks and cuts while doing average knife working.Sorry Bandaid!

Works Good, Smells Bad
I've used one of these gloves twice so far....for performance I'd give them 5 stars for sure. They are definitely cut resistant.....too soon to know if they are cut proof......aid in gripping slippery pieces of raw meat & also aid with lessening the bad effects of the cold on my fingers from prolonged gripping of cold meat. The reason I only gave 3 stars overall is the bad chemical smell emanating from the gloves. I asked the Seller for advice on how to get rid of it as washing per the enclosed instructions made it not as bad but it is still very noticeable to me. The seller did not respond at first and when I asked a second time he sent me a second pair of gloves free as an apology. So I give the Seller 5 stars. I'd up that to 10 stars if he'd reply to my last query of "is it ok to soak the gloves in baking soda or vinegar to try to get rid of the smell?" Or if he could tell me something to do that would eliminate the chemical odor. The instructions say to avoid bleach so I have only used dish soap on them so far.I did kind of test these gloves right out of the package with a sharp pointed knife. Gripping the blade didn't bother my hand a bit but gently poking with the sharp point let me know as per the description they are NOT stab resistant just cut resistant. In the end, I am happy I purchased them and would recommend them for hand protection while cutting things.

Safety first!
I bought this pair of cut-resistant gloves not so much for knife work but that I was tired of shaving my thumb on our coarse grater, which I use all the time for carrots, turnips, cheese and so on. Since there were two and since it's pretty much one size fits all, my wife and I share the pair, each having one to protect the hand in peril. They work great! And afterwards to clean them of carrot stains, meat juice and such they just go into the laundry.Recommended!

comfortable
this is the third cutting glove I have had for work. the first I can hardly rate because it was too big for me. the second I got from bed, bath, beyond for $25.00. I got a small and I liked the glove, but it began to feel just a bit too tight sometimes. it got a hole in it, so I bought this one. I got a medium. it is comfortable, has a different feel to the fabric so I am hoping it will work as well. but, so far so good. I am satisfied with it and the price was reasonable.

KingKut Cut Resistant Glove
I am a wood carver. I do power carving and knife carving both. I got these as an added safety item due to slips and cuts in the past. The knives I use are supper sharp and can cut half your finger of with just one slip. I have used these and luckily have had no slips yet. I can not say at this point if a slip will stop a cut with my razor sharp blades and I hope I never find out. Any help to keep from injury is a good thing. I will say they fit very good. hard to tell you have them on. Size does seem to run a little small. I ordered Med and they are tight on my small hands but in my case they fit tight like I want.
