TBGS Full Housing Shell Case Cover Replacement for Nintendo GBA SP Gameboy Advance SP Classic Limited Edition

After looking for new cases for my Gameboy Advance SP (Model # AGS-001) I found this case. The reviews were pretty brutal and all signs pointed that I would be making a mistake. Since I really liked the NES retro design and it was Amazon Prime, I took a risk and bought it.I am so glad I took the risk as this case is very well built and has some great details. The parts included in the set were very complete and the build was probably an 8.5 out of 10. Overall it was an excellent upgrade for a well used GameBoy Advance SP.Parts not used:1. The screwdrivers because I already own a high quality set2. The screen as the Original version is glass and this version is plastic. I just cleaned up the OEM which was in perfect condition already.Fit and Finish:The fit and finish I had a lot of concerns about. The only image shown on Amazon had an offset sticker. My sticker was placed near perfectly. In the center there is some dark edges on the center circles and I might possibly go in with a magnifier and examine why. I would assume it is either adhesive or alignment marking. Either way it is far too small to notice or be an issue.Select Button overlay in image?Below the select button there is also a slight bend in the overlay. It looks significant in the pictures but in real life I really do not even notice it. Only under significant light does it show. I have tried to smooth it down but truly......it's nothing.Overall:I am very picky for retro cases, most are garbage, especially a specialty case such as this. This case however I have found to be the exception. The case is as close as it gets for a third party solution in matching the Nintendo quality. I'd suggest purchasing this if you too are looking for the NES version of this case. I was not disappointed with my purchase.

the overall quality of the new shell is fantastic. i read some reviews of this before i bought it, and saw that the sticker that goes over buttons was crooked or something. mine was perfect. it had every screw necessary to replace all of the ones in the original shell, and also all the necessary screw caps that go around the screen. i have no complaints whatsoever, and i rarely leave product reviews on amazon, but this is great, and everyone should know its well worth the $20.this is unrelated to the product, but if you do buy this to switch out your sp's shell, please look up tutorials before you do. its a bit tricky and it would suck if you damaged your sp trying to upgrade it.

It came with all the parts and the case has great quality almost as the original. The only negative thing that I can comment is that the tools that are supposed to help you get the job done will break easily.

I liked the quality of the case but I didn’t like how they sent me the Nintendo case with the main sticker upside down other than that it’s a great case

For the price, the quality is pretty good. Looks nice, easy to assemble.

Excellent shell, detail was great, this is my third replacement shell and this is by far the best brand and seller. The supplied screwdrivers are outstanding as well, could not be happier. If you are looking to make your gba sp look new again stop looking and buy this right now!

The item arrived today. I was super excited to refurbish one of my old SPs. Until I opened the package, that is. The shell isn't bad. The quality is okay. But, the black matted sticker that lays over the button area was REALLY crooked. Like, not just off by a smidge, I mean 1/8" or better. Paying over $20 for this item, I expected much better.
