Gibraltar GCS-450C 4-Post Curved Rack

First thing, I am quite impressed! my package arrived 2 days early so that was awesome! The box was fine, no rips or holes, perfect labeling. When I opened the box Everything was bubble wrapped and taped to keep my rack lookin good and man Did it!! The chrome finish almost blinded me it was so damn shiny! No scratches, no dings, no problems of Any kind and Everything that was supposed to come with it was there! I haven’t had time to put it together yet but I can’t wait to! After I unwrapped all the parts, I picked up one of the wings and it’s sturdy...the whole rack is! The feet are wide with thick molded rubber for traction. The clamps are beefy and as thick as the rack itself. A drummer created this rack with a Lot of thought and attention to detail. I decided to write this review because this rack is worth it! I I have a 6 piece Ludwig set with cymbals and I’m....prrrreeeeetty sure everything will fit with ease. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because I haven’t put it together yet. This rack is gonna make my drumming so much easier.....very metal! Thank you Gibraltar. update: I put it together, and it performed flawlessly! 5 stars from me all the way. If I did have a complaint (which i dont) it would be that the adjustable arms can not be adjusted up or down. but that can be easily fixed with a gibraulter adjuster clamp. Easy peesy. Thank you Sooooo much for the awesome product.

Great rack, solid and adjustable. This is my second Gibraltar rack so far and the hardware on this one is definitely a step up. The ability to change the bushings to accommodate different diameters of cymbal holder hardware is awesome. Nearly limitless potential for positioning as long as you have the right hardware attachments.

Been on the fence due to price for close to twenty years. Came in to some money and finally upgraded to this rack and I'm so impressed by the space saved and the toughness/stability that I could cry endless tears of joy. Finally got that super-sweet metal drum setup I've been attempting with stands for over 30 years. This thing is currently supporting seven toms from 6" to 18", all off the floor, two high hats, five crash cymbals, one ride cymbal, six splash cymbals, a 12" side snare, chimes and five temple blocks. The only drum currently on its own stand is my main snare. The footprint of my kit has been reduced by about 30%. Keep in mind that all your old stands may or may not need mounting clamps so this stand will turn in to a more expensive endeavor than one initially planned. The rack is just the start. If your stand arms aren't wide enough then they won't fit in the rack clamps that are already on the tops of the leg posts. You'll need a whole bunch of right-angle clamps that will properly hold thinner cymbal/tom stands.

Quality product for sure and looks amazing, cleaner look and the drum kit just sits better and easier to get around. I am still trying to figure out how to keep the cymbal stands to hold in place. IDon't know what I am missing. I wound up buying 4 boom cymbal holder arms and they are too small for the piece they sit in?????

I was on the fence in purchasing this. But, after all, I'm glad I did. This allowed me to put away 6 stands!!! I have 3 rack toms, and 5 cymbals on my kit!!! I originally was going to return this and look for just a two set stand, but they don't make them. So, I decided to keep this one. I don't use the horizontal piece on my left side at all, BUT, I was able to use the stands on that side and move it over to the right side so that I can put another cymbal on it. This is a VERY versatile system. You can raise the height of your set or lower it. The only thing I don't like is that you can't lower them independently. For example, If you want the rack toms in the front a certain height, but you want the cymbals and/or rack tom on the right side lower than the front, you can't. It's all connected to the same post connector. I had to invert my tom mount for the right side Tom to have it lower. Didn't want to do this, but I had to. The other thing I don't like about rack toms is that if you have microphones mounted on the Toms and the Toms are mounted on the rack along with the cymbals, if you hit a cymbal you'll hear the shock throughout the Tom mics. What I have to do is set a Gate on all my Toms. Not ideal, but it's what I have to do. Live performances, it's great. Recording or mic circumstances, well, that's where you'll have problems. But, overall, this is a great rack.

Best investment I've made yet when it comes to buying drum equipment. The rack system is easy to assemble, looks great, has plenty of room to grow, and saves on floor space. I have a 7-piece drum kit with 6 cymbals and I was able to have everything mounted and ready to play within an hour and a half, without having to buy any additional hardware. The rack gives my set a professional appearance and looks great. I still have room on each of the horizontal side bars for additional attachments if I choose to add on more accessories. I was able to reduce the space my set took up by close to 30 percent by getting rid of all the tripod bases on the tom and cymbal stands. The only problem I encountered is that the mounting brackets don't accommodate to double tom attachments easily. It took sometime to get them lined up properly but, once they were aligned and tightened up, they work fine also.

Pretty solid rack, easy to put together, excellent clamp system. Was able to fit most of my toms and cymbals.

Purchased for an electronic set I've been building. I did buy the extra clamps in order to move the sides lower for a much better feel. So far...as sturdy as we've come to expect from this brand. I would recommend.

Acheté pour mon drum avec 4 toms, 10 cymbales, des micros, etc. Absolument tout embarque sur le rack, plus rien sur le sol, sauf le micro de basse drum et encore, je vais peut-être le clipper lui aussi. J'ai lu dans les commentaires que le matériel semblait parfois usagé en raison de griffures sur un clip. J'avais la même anomalie. À mon avis, le matériel est neuf (aucun doute), mais il semble y avoir un petit défaut de fabrication. Je l'ai gardé car c'est mineur et tout le reste est parfait. En plus, ça fait vraiment beau.

Acquistato a fine Aprile 2025. Rack di buona qualità, solido e intuitivo nel montaggio. Un po' meno i tubolari, pensavo fossero più resistenti, infatti durante l'apertura del pacco mi accorgevo che due erano ammaccati. (gamba e supporto curvo). Purtroppo non posso mandarlo indietro perché sono passati i tempi di restituzione. Ho mandato una mail qualche giorno fa al supporto Gibraltar per l'inconveniente, ad oggi nessuna risposta. Un po' deluso, considerando il costo.
