Excellent company
Used two of these straps to move a heavy object with two friends. When we were done I noticed this tear in the fabric on one of them. This may have happened when we dragged instead of lifted the item for a few feet over a concrete floor so I am still giving the product an average rating, but I don't that short drag should have ripped it so easily. The worst part is I am four days out of my return window and Amazon simply won't let you talk to the seller since Amazon handled the shipping. I am pretty sure the seller would replace this if they had the chance.update 10/29/2020I contacted 12 Stone Brands directly and Michael promptly sent me a replacement for the damaged one. This company stands by their product. I am updating my rating to 5 stars. The Landle had no problems lifting the heavy object and I am sure it was the short drag that ripped it so just don't drag heavy things over concrete with it and it can really help you move heavy things that are otherwise hard to get a grip on.

Mover's dream helper
I'm not one to write a lot of reviews. I'm an engineer and not "wordy" at all, but I had to come on amazon and rate these moving and lifting straps because they are f'ing awesome. After 28 years, we just moved. Since we were only moving 15 miles away we decided to move ourselves (not that wise of a decision). I purchased these moving straps and they really really assisted with the move. Whoever designed these things knows what they are doing. The handles are big and sturdy allowing you to get a good grip. The straps are wide and sturdy lending great support beneath whatever you want to pick up. These straps saved our backs and made it so much easier to move large objects. Even stuff, like a night stand, that is not necessarily that heavy, we used it because it just distributed the weight and made it easy to carry out of the house. We also bought the JCHL Moving Straps 2-person lifting. Those straps worked great for mattress and large dressers. If you are moving yourself, I highly recommend both.Since we have moved, there has been several times that my husband has asked where those green handle straps are. We continue to use them around the house. Great value!

Great for one-handed carrying
It's clear this is very sturdy and would work for big, heavy and/or awkward items, but works for lighter items too, even if a bit of overkill. I was happy that the company (which is very responsive and helpful) will be offering a lighter version. I like that the strap is wide and easily adjustable. I could hold both handles in one hand, although the lighter version works better for that. Since I use a cane, I only have one hand free for transporting items such as large boxes into the post office or a flat of flowers to a garden location. These items aren't heavy, I just can't carry them with one hand as they are. This strap helps with that. While there are other versions of carrying straps, this is the only type with a wide strap which offers more stability for awkward items.

Highly recommended, if you buy two
They aren't as easy to use solo as they look. You have to be very careful with lopsided loads by yourself. I've dropped a couple of things. But that being said, I highly recommend that you buy two and have someone help, because I can't think of anything in the house except maybe the refrigerator, that me and my girlfriend can't move ourselves. Up until now moving is hard because its bulky and it's tough to pick up. Most furniture etc is not all that heavy if you can get a good hand hold. We've moved a king sized mattress, a double wall oven, washer and dryer, a huge sideboard and many other items with these.

It's surprisingly heavy
Have not actually used, so can't give accurate rating. We got this during the time of covid to help our college daughter move into her dorm with no family helpers. She has to fly with this, her suitcase and a couple of bulky boxes to her college. We thought this would help when she gets there to schlep the boxes up to the 3rd floor. But, the Landle is surprisingly heavy. This could be a problem as we try to keep the weight of her baggage under control.Considering that the virus may end up closing the college campus anyway and then she has to turn around and move back, not sure we will keep this.

Great for moving Mattress
Pretty easy to work with. Help with carrying Mattresses and box spring. Doesnt work with carrying boxes or any other things with one person carrying. Only useful for carrying mattresss

Good strap but can be better
It was very useful to carry boxes down the stairs. Giving a 4 because of the hard plastic handle which was little difficult to carry if the boxes very heavy.

This product has been wonderful!
I purchased the Landle to help move heavy items around the house when my husband isn't home to help me. I've been able to move heavy items around without dragging them on the floor or hurting myself in the process. The handles make it easy to grip awkward items and the strap creates a consistent weight distribution so I can move things quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this product!

Misleading and incorrect information provided
The fully extended length is about four and a half feet, and not 6 feet as mention. The width is also hardly around 3 inches. Disappointing that the actual product is very different from the information provided.
