Does not focus or work at all!!
Do not buy!! I would not have selected one star if zero was an option. This does not focus and there are no instructions. I even asked my father who was a Biology major to try to get it to work. Nothing. We didn’t get to test this until recently, so unfortunately I can’t return the item. Complete waste of money and my son is very disappointed.

Very fun idea for littler kids, too!
My five-year-old grand niece had a big mad Science birthday, and so my dad and I purchased this and several pre-made slide sets (with animal bits, plant bits, mineral bits, etc.) It is like a whole littler world for the little world to discover. Seems made well enough to last for more than one child to explore.

Was a gift for a 6 yr old. It came with everything it promised but I haven't tried it personally.
