Das Board und das LCD tragen beide Revisionsdaten aus 2018, also zu diesem Zeitpunkt aus dem aktuellen Jahr. Das elektrische Design und die Spannungswandler sind für ein Chinesisches Produkt erstaunlich gut, sowohl die Anschlüsse als auch die Wandler und Mosfets haben genug Leistung und sind ordentlich gekühlt. Das ist mehr als man von so manchem chinesischen Ramps-Clone sagen kann. Kritisieren kann ich eigentlich nur die schwache Dokumentation - nicht sehr ausführlich und teils in einem sehr schwachen Chinenglisch, die Designdokumente der Hardware fehlen völlig. Das ist um so unangenehmer, da sich MKS bei einem großteil der Makerszene nicht unbedingt beliebt gemacht hat mit seiner Politik, die Firmware der großen Projekte zu nutzen aber die eigene Hardware nicht offenzulegen. Einstellmoeglichkeiten gleich null. Funktional ist auch ganz anders! Es wird per .txt Datei eingestellt… die Funktionen sind massiv begrenzt. Wenn man alles grob hinbekommen hat, vergisst das Ding nach einiger Zeit einfach alles. Also darf man wieder alles einstellen. Das Ding ist NICHT Marlin kompatibel! Pronterface oder vergleichbares ist total nutzlos.
