Is it ok to apply these tiles on top, anyone?** A: Dear customer, Thank you for your inquiry, we always recommend our customer to check and read full product description along with customers reviews. As we are only supplier of the product. Below is a review by a customer who has used this product on old vinyl, Hope this will help. Mar Mar Lee 4.0 out of 5 stars Stunning 'Before' and 'After' Reviewed in Canada on 28 July 2019 Verified Purchase I am absolutely in love with the transformation in my small bathroom. Take a look at the 'Before' and 'After' in the photos. I installed these tiles right over the old vinyl roll flooring. I just cleaned the old floor really well. These tiles are only 1/16 of an inch thick so I didn't even bother pulling off the baseboards. The tile is sticky (try not to touch the adhesive as you will leave sticky marks on your tiles) and easily cut with a box knife or exacto for straight edges or even a sharp pair of sissors for any curves. Super easy to install for a beginner DIY-er. As another reviewer mentioned, the tiles are not perfect, and as the box will tell you, you have to rotate the tiles to get the patterns to match up perfectly. I took off 1 star because of this reason, I feel like it's something that you shouldn't have to deal with. It's been about a month now and the tiles are still holding up great. Thinking about updating my laundry room floor with more FloorPops! Hope we have answered your question. Thanks and Regards, Team AUMI **Q: Can this be used on my kitchen floor?** A: I would think so, I have put them in a cloakroom, they are ok. If yr kitchen is small I think they would be fine. A large area might need smoother sheets of lino? **Q: I know it says you don’t need grout but almost every video I’ve seen on installing these is using grout? I don’t need it for a bathroom floor?** A: You don't need grout. I did use an aerosol adhesive spray for extra stickiness... **Q: How many would I need for a room 2m by 2m please?** A: 30 tiles will cover ~ 2.8 Sq m Tile spec: 305 mm x 305 mm (12" x 12") If your room is 4 Sq m then you may need 45-50 tiles. ## Frequently Bought Together - FloorPops FP2480 Comet Peel & Stick Floor Tiles, Black - Art3d Smoothing Tool Kit for Applying Peel and Stick Wallpaper, Vinyl Backsplash Tile --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/64158698-wallpops-fp2480-comet-peel-and-stick-floor-tiles-blacks-set](https://www.desertcart.be/products/64158698-wallpops-fp2480-comet-peel-and-stick-floor-tiles-blacks-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
