Cool!
Very cool, allows/encourages you to develop recipes further. Excited to brew my first clone.

Great starting place for recipes
This is an awesome comprehensive recipe book for homebrewers. Even though I don't often follow others' recipes, this is perhaps the most useful recipe design book I have. You can look up a broad style family and see the "nuts and bolts" that tend to go into it, or you can use a recipe from the book and tweak it the way you like it. Or just brew your own pirate Hamms (not kidding -- it has a Hamms clone recipe) straight out of the book and live your best life if that's what you want to do. There are all kinds of examples in this book, which is super handy any way you approach it. My only complaint is that it doesn't lay flat!

Great starting point for making clone recipes
If you have some experience brewing some basic all-grain recipes, this is a good jumping off point to recreate a wide variety of commercially-available ales and lagers. The recipes I've made were both tasty and a fair representation of the original brews. Looking forward to trying more!

Very good recipes, superficial instructions.
It's great to have the details of all the recipes described here; however, the 'step-by-step instructions' are not quite that. They are actually very basic for a beginner, and you need to have experience in the full grain beer-making process. For instance, the recipe for Aventinus Schneider Weisse is really difficult to follow.

Amazing book!!
Oh my... so many great all grain beer recipes with extract substitutions for those who don't have the space or equipment to brew all grain. The instructions are easy to follow and the choices of "clone recipes" are across the spectrum of all beer styles. I'm looking forward to trying the Sierra Nevada Bigfoot clone this winter.

Many great recipes for emulating beers you can buy.
It's difficult to produce an exact copy of a commercial beer. But I've been happy with the these recipes so far. I get pretty close usually. I recommend this book for brewers who have a good working knowledge of brewing. It is not a book for learning the basics.

Almost perfect!
I really like this book. I thumb through it often to help inspire recipes of my own or if I want to recreate one of the beers I love . It has various beers and styles ranging from classic light American lagers to rare Belgian ales. I was surprised not to find a couple clone recipes I was expecting to see but it still has a lot to offer.

Tons of recipes. Hard cover.
This book has plenty of information but my favorite part is the amount of recopies it has. There's about 100 of them. It explains Malt Extract to Full Mash in good detail. This book is also a hard cover which makes it even better since its going to be use for years to come.

Good book
I gave this book 5* because of the amount of recipes and love that it is organised into beer styles. I wish there were less American micro brewery beers and more European beers but still an awesome book.

Homebrewing

Easy to follow and loads of recipes
This is a really good clone book - yes its more geared towards the US market but why not try some of their breweries recipes? Also has some English and European so those are also available to try. Weights and measures are in pounds and ounces AND Kilograms so ideal. Good book and will be doing more of these recipes.
