Nebulus High End Platinum Ski Jacket DAVOS, men's, black, 10,000 mm (Q679)

I have tested this jacket to the extreme after skiing in horrible ski conditions in bulgaria, and going out in the heavy snow situation in scotland recently. Honestly, the material is the best I have ever worn.Pros:This jacket can withstand a huge amount of beating from the wind/cold, and surprisingly keeps warm even when I stupidly forgot to wear sufficient underlayers. Keeps all the snow and rain at bay, I feel dry after hail/rain. For skiing, doesnt keep sweat in, I feel very comfortable going down slopes and sitting in ski lifts. Very good and comfy material. Quality jacket, at a very affordable price.Cons:The biggest pocket can just about fit an iphone 7 plus, the small pockets are a slight inconvenience for me. However, the main reason why I rated this 3 stars and not 5 is with the condition of the zips. As you can see in the photos, the waterproof layer lining the zips is already starting to wear out with less than 2 weeks of constant usage, and while I promise I have been very careful with zipping/unzipping, I am not exactly sure what is causing the zips to wear out. The cold temperature? The constant wetting and drying? Perhaps this is not normal and it is a defect on my jacket? Will send Nebulus an email about this.

This jacket is well made and of good quality, and generally I am pleased with it. It's comfortable, fits as expected and I get the impression (not having tested it on the slopes yet) that it will last.There are however some unexpected drawbacks.1. The pockets are small - I can just about fit my hands in when the pockets are empty and I'm not wearing gloves. For a ski jacket, that's quite restrictive, and it'd be difficult at best to tuck ski gloves into the pockets without the risk that they'll fall out.2. There are no vents under the arms - again what I'd consider a fairly standard feature on a mid-to-high end jacket.3. The jacket reaches down to the waist/hips and it is tighter there than anywhere else. This might be to prevent snow getting in (though there is a snow skirt) but it feels just a little tight and can cause the jacket to ride up when sitting down or moving about. For a jacket that is otherwise spacious, this seems an odd 'feature'.Besides these issues, it's a good jacket, with comfortable cuffs with thumb holes to keep hands warm.

SuperbI ordered the small size, and it’s a perfect fit. I’m 5’8” and fairly slim (36” chest, 31” waist) but there’s still a bit of room.And the jacket is terrific. Really light and packable, yet so very warm and ideal for skiing.And great value, too.I was a newbie to skiing with this. It’s ideal, and many more experienced skiers that I was with thought it absolutely fine. It’ll be my ski jacket for many more seasons.

Love this jacket but do not buy as the Zips keep falling apart. I initially got this replaced as within the returns policy but having got the replacement and two skis in the zip broke again. Due to stitching and seals the zip itself is too problematic to replace. Typically I am now out with policy and therefore stuck with a jacket I can no longer use. Don't buy.

This is my second Nebulus purchase. Good quality and lots of pockets and features. I wouldn't have paid full RRP but sale price keeps it competitive with other quality brands. Slow shipping 17 days. Would advise people to order one size bigger.... unless you like snug :)

After only 3 days of use while skiing, the zip started peeling off it's protective plastic coating and by the end of the 5th day the main front zip was completely ruined and also the two pocket zips. Two friends had the same jacket and had exactly the same problem. Product sent back for refund. These zips are absolutely dreadful!

I have the size M and this one was way too large for me , so I returned and I had ordered a size smaller( S instead M ) and guess what , feels perfectly to my body

please contact me regarding this item it is faulty and i need to return it for a refund. I've only been skiing once and the pockets are far too small, the jacket ripped when i put it on, the wrist strips are fading and the hand warmers are also ripped. the water protection on the zip is also flaking. very disappointing with this product. please get back to me asap
